That's unfair to Raonic Noeller, He is a solid player but he is very passive and lacks the killer instinct to beat the top players. He's been top 10 for a long time now, just doesn't have the mentality to consistently beat the other top players on tour. Bouchard well she's just not as interested in improving her game as she needs to be simple as that. Caught people by surprise early, they figured her out and she hasn't adapted to that. Shapovalov who knows how good he can be, there have been other teenagers come in and make noise like that and then never progress as much as expected, but I think this kid does have a bright future if he can improve his atrocious net play. Make no mistake if you're going to upset a top seed by blasting the ball as hard as you can it'll be Nadal, especially when he plays so far behind the baseline like he was doing last night. Guy will sit a mile back and run down balls and wait for his opponent to make a mistake. That never happened last night but guys like Federer or Murray or Djokovic would never give you that much room. That's why I ******* hate Nadal as a player. Such a boring as **** player. ******* clay court players, speed up the courts again and players like him disappear.

Is it known which Western team tried to grab Spooner off PR??

Well to be fair there were probably a hell of a lot of people took a look at Roberts size and decided he was a waste of time. Like it or not teams always want size size and more size and big guys who suck get way more chances than little guys ever get. -
If Nichols gets a bit more consistent with his accuracy on some of the deep passes look out.

I don't think they ever would have taken a receiver at #1. Kyle Walters is very adamant that his top picks get used on linemen. If he feels they are the backbone of a teams NI depth then he's not exactly wrong to stock the cupboards there.

given the similarities between Richards and Etienne how do we know that Etienne wasn't Kyle Walters influence?

The only good thing Mike Kelly did was trash the media in this city and put them in their place with the handled internally presser. Literally the only good thing. -

shocking thought, but maybe Tait is less critical now because with a team winning games there is just less to be critical of?

You can disagree all you like, it still doesn't make you right. Part of coaching skill is being able to keep the ego in check too. I mean **** Chris Jones did fine when he had someone to keep his lunacy in line, but it doesn't make him any less of a **** up when he doesn't have that control over him. You want to make claims that a guy wasn't so bad a coach you better be prepared to back it up because Mike Kelly was among the worst things to happen to this franchise. -

He was the GM! And part of his problem as a coach was that once Lefors showed himself to not be up to snuff he drove the bus right over top of him, and then the next qb, and the next one and the next one. I started calling the guy the bus driver for a while because rather than admit his own faults he kept throwing players under the bus. I dunno why you are trying to defend the guy but he was a horrible coach because his ego kept him from admitting that he might have been wrong about some things and that is what led to his down fall. It's a bit like Chris Jones in Saskatchewan. No one to tell him no and he's letting the ego run wild and torpedo his team. -

he chose those guys as his qbs!!!! -
How dare you forget the third valid pick Messam? Anyway my pick of the 3 is going to be Andrew Harris.

Just trying to temper this Walters is impeccable and Mack was the devil attitude some have.
-
Yeah the best example is how Walters wanted them to take that bust of an OL 1st overall but Mack over ruled him and went with Muamba instead. Here is the thing, Walters ain't untouchable when it comes to drafting, he's just collected a lot of draft picks lately and some have worked others haven't and overall it's improved the depth of the NIs on the team.

I hope he's at least paying Rich to advertise his blog here. I have a problem with people who only use these message boards for their own gain in that regard. Poster who only exists to link to his blog? Come on now that's bullshit unless you sponsor the forum.

hey would you want to give up a full pay cheque after collecting that money for doing nothing?

this is one of my all time favourites, just because of how ******* cocky Kamau Incompleterson was for the Stamps when they were up and then all the beat the traffic folks trying to crowd back around the gates regretting their decision to leave before it's over.

Makes total sense considering Paul Lapolice is the OC. Short passes, relies on yards after the catch, prone to conservative play calling ie. lots of 2 and outs, but also capable of scoring when they are behind. I swear if Lapo had any balls at all this team would win a lot more handily than it does.
