I said it in the post, better than streveler. I know it isn't the strength of his game but he has struggled less with it than streveler has. I say again, love the upside of Streveler but Nichols is way, way more polished. Give Streveler another year or two and see where he is at.

The thing Nichols does that makes the while offense better is that he is quicker at reading the defense and is better at going deep. He truly makes you have to defend the whole field where as streveler is more reliant on the underneath stuff and running himself. I love the upside of streveler, but Nichols is an experienced vet who takes the offense to a whole other level.

Oh man that play where hardrick got his hands on the db.... poor guy was effortlessly pushed backward 20 yards maybe more and if the play hadn't ended hardrick probably pushes him right out of the building. Love they way that guy gets down field to block.

I agree with this but to me he also has the tendency to switch it up to try and catch the other guys off guard when he could probably stand do to more of what already worked.

If lapo would quit trying to out fox the other team he'd be a lot better. He needs to get out of his own way at times and rather than trying to adjust before the other team stops you adjust after they actually stop it. A lot of times he does the opposing dcoordinator a favour.

I don't think Bridge is capable of running a proper offense anway, what can you do as an offensive coordinator when the only thing your qb can do is scramble around and heave it deep on broken plays? Lucky for Bridge he's got some receivers who can make those catches for him, but really he's a shitty version of Michael Bishop.

The downfall against Edmonton was some quick 2 and outs in the 4th quarter which allowed Edmonton time with the ball. Make a first down or two and kill the clock rather than punting back to the esks yeah that game likely goes a lot differently. Remember it was a blown lead for the Bombers, and part of that was the offense sputtering in their last possessions.

Another thing to consider is that the riders have had 3 of their 4 games at home. They have had a real cream puff schedule so far. It's only going to get harder for them as the year goes on.

because wins and losses are only part of the picture, how you look in a game matters too and the RIders have looked like hot garbage all year regardless of having 2 wins. Garbage team that is only going to get worse when they run into injuries as the season progresses because their depth is complete and utter trash, especially if it's a Canadian that gets hurt.

Yeah you do have a tendancy to downplay what the Bombers accomplish. The Bombers haven't taken down any titans, but they did quite convincingly kick the **** out of BC and Montreal, as in the game from start to finish was never in doubt. There's winning by a little against bad teams and then there is clearly showing you are better than those shitty teams which the Bombers did.
