The thing about this place is that so many of the people here are not just Bomber fans but CFL fans which leads to less insular thinking compared to some other places.

Yeah except it's not using someone else's site to promote this one, I remember people asking about this place and even in a PM you couldn't get the address through the censors, that's nothing but being petty. Worth a roster spot as a depth player with the right passport who can fill in for an injury should one occur mid game... but that doesn't make him an extremely talented player. Fact is that the OL got way way better when Neufeld got hurt last year and was replaced, god willing one of the younger guys will show themselves to be better depth and we can rid ourselves of this Kyle Walters pet project once and for all.

I disagree, he is not extremely talented, versatile sure, decent player sure, but he's not the kind of guy you make room for just in case he is healthy.

I don't think it's ever a truly terrible idea to take a guy getting an NFL shot. Yeah you may never see them up here, but if you do then you're getting presumably one of the better players from the draft. Sometimes having a future guy in your back pocket isn't a bad thing either.
