  1. I am just saying it's pretty ******* easy to come up with a good offense when you have that collection of players, and we all used to sit around ourbombers at the time and ***** about Lapolice's play calling and wish for Khari Jones to call plays in the huddle instead, so not like everyone was wowed by it back then either. Hell he was fired from that position.
  2. Khari Jones, Milt Stegall in his prime, Arland Bruce, Charles Roberts, Mike Sellers... yeah wonder why an offensive coordinator would have success.....
  3. I dunno, I think Trestman deserves some props for what he did in Toronto this year as well. Oh well, the Bombers are always going to be criminally under rated around the rest of the country.
  4. Yeah that's true about Willy, time blends together and I just assumed Lapo had been here longer. Still I think these questions need to be asked about Lapolice. Never really developed a qb, guys who have looked good in his offense are few and far between... methinks he is over rated as an offensive guru.
  5. COTY is based on reputation unless one team has a remarkable rags to riches story.
  6. How is one player finding the footing and the other not being able to anything but outplaying him? Get your head out of your ass man.
  7. Huzzah!
  8. But the offense seems to also get guys hurt, Willy was hurt a lot, Pierce obviously, Khari Jones was in a Lapo offense when he got his shoulder buggered up...
  9. Which should say something about how our defense was actually playing. Make no mistake, they were not happy with their previous 2 outings and wanted to make a statement.
  10. So I am legitimately curious here, how many qbs have actually have really good seasons in a Lapo offense? I got Khari Jones, Darian Durant and Matt Nichols, anyone else?
  11. All streaks come to an end sometime.
  12. If he was totally healthy I bet BLM woulda played that game. DIckenson was not a happy camper at the prospect of going into the playoffs on a 3 game skid, I am certain the only reason BLM didn't play is cause they wanted to give his shoulder the extra rest.
  13. BLM has had a messed up shoulder since the summer at very least. Guy has not been his usual self this year and you can see it when you watch. He's playing through it but the guy is hurting.
  14. All that you say about the Stamps qbs you can say about the bombers qbs. They wouldn't have been in there if the game really mattered. We went in with a game plan on offense to not **** things up, mission accomplished. The Stamps didn't do the same. Why do people try and downplay what transpired in the game? It was backup qbs vs. backup qbs and the rest of our team beat the rest of their team.
  15. That's just mean.
  16. Harris averaged 8.5 per carry rushing and also had 5.6 yards per catch, Messam averaged 2.5 per carry and then caught 3 passes for 0 yards... yeah I'm going to say that Harris outplayed Messam all ******* game long.
  17. Let them scheme all they like, I have confidence in both players to straight up beat their opponents.
  18. I am insulted on behalf of Andrew Harris that you left him out.
  19. Harris and Flanders you're up. Good thing those two have pretty much killed the Esks this season already.
  20. Leggett is arguably the best defensive player in the league and can't get any recognition. Totally jobbed.
  21. I approve of your taking a hard stand while also leaving yourself ample room to backtrack out of it.
  22. You can only beat the team that is lined up against you, and beat the Stamps the Bombers did. I mean it's not like it was Nichols vs. Buckley and Stanzi out there. Stamps had the same backup qb advatange the Bombers did, we avoided mistakes better than they did and our lines outplayed theirs by a lot. Our star Canadian RB also outplayed their star Canadian RB. Stop downplaying what happened. It's not the be all and end all for determining where these two teams are at, but it's not like you are trying to make it sound either.
  23. good thing reporters prefer flashy offensive stats to defensive players.
  24. The offense as a whole has been pretty lacklustre the last few weeks, are we really going to get down on a bunch of receivers for not having big stat lines in that case? The only criticism I will level at a receiver based on those games is Washington has got to stop bobbling passes and flat out dropping the easy ones cause he's done that way too much for my liking.
  25. I call everyone out, your comment was just the most insane one and now you're upset about it. I dunno maybe you didn't think before posting but either way, you put it out there for the world to see and now you wish you hadn't.
