What would I give up for Nichols... let's see an unproven guy who gets hurt every time he plays.... nothing.

I'm not freaking out about missing on Burris. I'm freaking out because it's obvious that we are not in any way, shape or form a desirable destination for players who have a choice. And that's a problem. And you're surprised by this? Do we have to be surprised by this, to be upset about this? The market is telling us that 2 FA's that WE COVETED don't view Winnipeg as anything more than a last resort. It's not the individual QB's that I'm upset we lost on. It's the increasing likelihood that our greatest fear is coming true... that no one of any value wants to play here. The coordinators are the least inspiring group I've ever seen, they made a lot of noise about getting a FA qb and struck out on the 2 that hit the market... Walters seems to give up a lot when he trades for pieces... it's just a lot of things starting to form a picture here.

Very happy to not have to watch Burris wear a Bomber jersey, but at the same time, there were lots of promises made by Walters and Miller about getting things done via free agency and so far seems like he's striking out. Just don't get desperate enough to overy pay for Glenn in a trade cause you know Ottawa is going to try. Tell em to go **** themselves and enjoy 2 starting qbs, one who wants to start and one who hates competition.

Just don't let Ottawa extort anything of value out of you for Glenn. Tell em to enjoy paying 2 qbs and dealing with their respective egos rather than helping them out.

given that he does put up the numbers you would have to expect over 300 grand for burris, really seems to me that he is just trying to weasel as much out of as possible, maybe get some more years. I'd tell him to take it or leave it at this point, he doesn't like it he can go compete with Glenn or Reilly for the starting gig.

+/- requires a hell of a lot of extra context to even begin to be useful. So unless you've got all the other stats to make it useful +/- was a pathetic attempt at advanced stats.

Credibility = gone. +/- might just be the worst stat in all of sports.

I dunno why people are THAT down on Hall, he made some good progress last year. Yeah people will always want a bigger arm but arm strength is the more over rated aspect of a quarterback. Give Hall a better offensive line and let's see how he looks.
