With no experience they were far better than what we've used previously. Even if they were beat at least they got a piece of someone. None of this Boatman just lets them run past untouched nonsense.

I feel terrible for the players. They are not given a chance at all by this coaching staff.

there was a guy could be clearly heard on TSN on the 3rd down in OT screaming "Maybe you should take a knee" sums things up perfectly. Burke is a loser and the team is a loser because of it. What is he? 6-16 as head coach with so many games where the team was never ever remotely in it... he needed to be fired 2 or 3 months ago.

Don't think Ford is a good enough option as an every down running back, don't have faith in Hall having any kind of time in the pocket, right now the only play that I see being reliable is the old toss it up for Kelly and hope he comes down with it cause he's the only receiver on this team making catches for his qb.

Ahh revisionist history. Burke was tapped as HC, because he was the most highly touted "next CFL HC" around the league. People were TERRIFIED we were going to lose him if we didn't promote him. Precisely. But that is merely fan opinion. What concerns me more is management's evaluation of head coaching candidates...or rather...the lack of it. safe to say I think that Burke was lured here with the promise that he'd be next up to be head coach. How else can you explain him just getting the job after all those red flags that popped up last season

He shoulda tried winning more games, that's a surefire way to keep your job. Leading the team into blow out after blowout and game after game where the team is out of contention by halftime is not going to be good for job security.

I can't see any head coach not wanting to keep a guy on staff who is that highly regarded around the league as a special teams coordinator. That's would be a pretty careless way to think if you were the GM don't you think? I think you misunderstand, I'm not suggest the Bombers dictate who stays on as assistants, I'm suggesting that any head coach would opt to keep Dickenson on staff because he's that well regarded.

Can't be expecting too much out of that team just yet, didn't inherit a hell of a lot from Atlanta and it takes time to draft and develop players and turn them into contributing players, the first draft was only a couple years ago for the jets, and I think he's done a solid job of putting a more competitive team out there than expected. That being said probably going to get worse playing in a conference that isn't the the powderpuff southeast division but I think they are on the right track, just might take a bit longer than some people have patience for.

I truly believe that Burke should have stayed as a d-coordinator in this league. I think he struggles with the media, game management and knowing who he is supposed to "coach". As a head coach, you coach the coaches and very rarely the players. I think Burke's first love is coaching the players and he is now in a position that doesn't really allow that. It is painfully obvious that he is in over his head as a head coach. Just doesn't seem to have any idea what he's supposed to be doing. Hell of a defensive coordinator but total and utter failure as a head coach.
