  1. was his foot off the ground though? You can see his foot coming up in that clip. I saw that live but it's just too close to make that judgement to over turn it when it was ruled in bounds on the field. The plant came down inbounds, so either his foot slid sideways or it only appeared to go out when he picked his foot up. Can you make the determination based on the angle there? That's why it wasn't over turned.
  2. ever since Garbutt got back. Having 2 proper DEs changed the D in such a good way. Throw in the rookie/young dbs settling in it's not just an out of the blue couple game thing.
  3. well good news! Collaros has been getting his crap together... He's cut out a lot of the stupid **** was was getting into trouble with early in the year AND he's getting his #1 guy in Kenny Lawler back as well! Again go back to that Toronto game, Collars was good in that game, the pick was PI that the CFL botched (they even admitted as much afterwards). Bombers lost that game because of turnovers, had nothing to do with Collaros on any of them besided the obviously botched command centre PI decision.
  4. And Harris has done thus his entire career. Lots of yards, not enough points to go with them. It's not that it's bad, it's just not that scary. Dink and dunk then trust your kicker and D to not give up touchdowns. But the shut out against BC was just a continuation of the dominant game they had against Toronto... Argos td was a phony pick 6 don't forget.
  5. Based on recent work, yes. Don't sleep on the winnipeg D. They ain't the same as they were in the first few weeks of the season.
  6. In news that should shock no one... except perhaps the person who thought it was a good idea to bring him in in the first place
  7. I heard he also accosted and old woman in a Safeway parking lot.
  8. The people who broke it can't be trusted to fix it.
  9. They have been trying hard to make Johnson happen for a few games now at least. Maybe he turns into something, but so far he still looks like a rookie.
  10. Is that any different than any day in the summer the last 5 years?
  11. At least the weather is nice... though I think maybe rain forecast later...
  12. Considering the shot in the arm lucky provided to the offense they'd be stupid not to use him.
  13. Is ayers actually able to play? After he got the old El kabong last game I figured for sure he'd be out with a concussion for a while.
  14. worth bearing in mind that Rourke washed out of the NFL in less time and with much less fanfare than Streveler did... surely he meant to say top 20 qb in the CFL.
  15. For real. Support for the cfl exists in edmonton, but no one wants to go watch a tire fire.
  16. I don't think the issue is so much that it's appropriating culture and more so that it's a bit of a derogatory term.
  17. Thought Haba was the one guy doing his job getting pressure in game 1 before he got hurt.
  18. Why are we posting in this old assed thread?
  19. Yeah go ahead and start Rourke. See how that works out. Massively massively over rated player because of a hot summer in an offense that we now know simply pads a qbs passing numbers when the weather is good.
  20. Shut up shut up shut up shut up
  21. So Eli is not likely to get trucked IMO. Miss a block? Sure maybe, that happened when he first went in but he won't get bullied like kolankowski regularly does.
  22. Vendetta? No, hates him? No. Just that oshea doesn't make moves unless he absolutely has to even if they might make the team better. Kolankowski stepped in for an injury and held the fort and now he is untouchable. Eli was away for a year and dropped on the depth chart and can't move up because no one is getting hurt.
