Dustin Crum, Jake Dolegala and Taylor Powell.... just excuses. Argos had nothing going in the passing game, only runs by qbs and bombers would have broken through eventually given the way they owned TOP.
-
They all count as 2 in the standings. Bombers left a ton of points on the field.

I don't know if there's a better receiver at making a cut than Schoen, geeze he makes guys look stupid
-
says who? literally the only thing Dukes did was run up the middle. Kelly isn't a wet behind the ears rookie who reads and runs, he might have taken more chances. Again why do rookie qbs do well against the bombers? cause the bombers give a **** ton of room for those runs.
-
when you run the ball down the other teams throats it's not JUST the running back.

Well the home alone ending was god awful. I hated the "old man Bond" aspect of it considering they had just rebooted the series as a newer 00. It just didn't do anything special. I think people got sucked in by the pretty pictures and ignore the rest. Without a shred of hyperbole I would if I had to choose a movie to watch between Skyfall and Quantum of Solace I'm taking Quantum any day, and that's not because I love Quantum of Solace

The age thing is that age sometimes gets guys gassed more easily or maybe it's harder to bring it game in and game out. This is where depth is more important but there are some areas lacking depth.
-
Fixed that for you
-
Yes everyone knows that. But stubler is gone and oshea is a bomber now. Your envy is almost endearing. Almost.
-
Yeah argos trying their very best to be the Bombers.
-
1-0 this week, 1-0 next week. All that matters.

We're being too literal and you're using comments from players as gospel when clearly the use of the word luck isn't intended so... come on now. Gotta be good to be lucky. This team has enough star power they won the close games generally. That's how they played. Now with the aging stars though some of the close ones slip away. It happens. I agree they need some smarter roster management in a couple places to deal with that, but some of you are going overboard on the whole thing. It's literally like 2 changes to the roster and what they're doing in terms of game day is fine.
-
Easier to take the nameplate off the jersey than it apparently is to get it off the roster.
-
What a time to be alive. Much better than the years we were lucky to get 4 wins. I wouldn't call it luck. I'd call it having a good team. The problem is the team is getting older and they're dropping a few of the close ones because of it. That's where they need to have some adequate depth in place. It's not as dire yet as some make it seem, but gotta be forward thinking.

To which I have no idea why... sure the cinematography is nice but as a bond movie it sucks
-
Yeah Dinwiddie is playing silly buggers with that answer.

Thank you. Skyfall was **** from start to end and spectre was no screaming hell either. I actually watched the most recent one for the first time recently, it was better than I expected. Probably the best since the first 2 Craig bonds.
-
But what do they want to do? They did newly minted (aka young) 00 with Craig who was 38 at the time.... so what's the difference? Cavill certainly doesn't look an old 40 either. It's Hollywood, he can play anywhere from 18 to 75.

So nice that you bring up Kevin Glenn, throw in Collaros last year too. Injuries can happen at any time. Did resting collaros last season help keep him healthy for the Grey Cup? You step on the field you run the risk of an injury. Just the way it is. You play the game to win.
-
Some of us were unhappy with the decision to rest players at the end of the season last year if you will recall. Didn't like icing a team that was rolling.
-
This. It's so painfully simple.
-
Been saying it all along, September isn't when you start coasting. Nothing like icing your hot team too early
-
Cries at 40 year old dude being too old

Then I look forward to your "nothing to see here" posts after a narrow win tomorrow night. Let's be honest it doesn't matter who the argos are dressing if the Bombers book end a bye week with back to back losses it's trouble. This team should be able to beat the argos full roster and if they lost to that bunch after a bye week it would be the same disaster as a loss would be now because it would be the exact same problems showing up as have been seen before.
-
Why stop there? If we don't blow them out of the water we're in deep trouble, that's where you're going to go right?
