  1. Yeah watching the stamps get big returns all night I won't discount the return of the teamers.
  2. YES! Because if you shrug it off as both sides are bad it just enables them to be shitty and keep pushing the boundaries of their shittiness. A republican president tried to overthrow democracy! This isn't both sides, this is one side is a bunch of capitalist neoliberals, the other side is a group of fascists who see Russian dictatorship propped up by oligarchs as a swell idea. But both sides amirite?
  3. Jesus christ, it's not unwavering support for Biden, is debunking the myth that both sides are the same. Corporations buy governments? Yup 100%. But the Republicans are also trying to outright overthrow democracy which the democrats aren't.
  4. no ******* kidding, let's investigate the crap out of trumps kids and their spouses. Kushner was denied security clearance many times and trump still gave it to him anyway and the saudis just out of the goodness of their hearts gave him 2 billion? get ******. These criminal charges that Trump is getting are no joke and if it was any other ordinary citizen they'd be sitting on death row already.
  5. No they are not and that is proven time and time again. Repeating this crap only serves to try and overlook the crap that republicans get away with. Seriously there is nothing with Biden. If there was republicans would have found it already. They've been digging forever. They started digging on Bill Clinton the same way too. Eventually they found out he got a hummer in the oval office (which happened after they started looking for dirt on him) and grabbed onto that. Somehow I doubt that Joe Biden is gonna get an intern to to do that though so they're left trying to drag his son, a private citizen into all this for some reason.
  6. Both teams just full of ****** canoes... hate to see the 4 stripes win, but a bc loss is always good and think of the ego boost the 4 stripes will have now and the harder fall it will be when the Bombers stomp a mud hole in them and walk it dry. If I can paraphrase... "WAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!"
  7. And Edmonton has some good running back options too. Their big problem is they tried ti make Taylor Cornelius a thing and Taylor Cornelius both sucks and blows. And further more, brown hasn't just looked good vs Edmonton, he looked good in a couple starts and relief appearances the past couple years. Guy has shown more than a lot of qbs getting starting reps for other teams. Does it make him a world beater? Nope, just that qbs around the league are in a bad place at this time.
  8. It's just laughable at this point.
  9. No kidding it's a God damned stupid position to take. I mean christ Vernon adams with all his flaws is seen as a top teir qb. There's 3 teams you could list as not really having major roster issues, the rest of them? It comes down to what qb looks like he has half a clue that week.
  10. Edmonton is largely terrible because of terrible qbing... same deal Hamilton and Ottawa....
  11. I know I mentioned it before, but in the 2nd half there was one run where judge tried to tackle Oliveira and gets up slowly holding his shoulder... that's one of your linebackers who didn't want any part of stepping in and stopping the running back. It's just so fun to watch him get past the first level and just hit guys
  12. Quarterbacks are the single most impactful position in the cfl... you upgrade your qb your team is instantly better. You don't have a good qb even the beat roster will look like ****. So yeah Dru Brown would improve a lot of CFL teams right now.
  13. Brown us OK, I'll stick with my Kevin Glenn comparison. Really wasn't impressed with the game plan they gave him and after being stymied a it you could see the confidence wasn't there. Like a lot of young qbs he has ups and downs and momentum is a big part of it. Lawler was able to get a toe down in the endzone I bet the game goes entirely different for him.
  14. Brown looked a bit overwhelmed at times when things got bogged down... really should have just went full on run heavy and buried the stamps on the ground. They could have done it because calgary isn't good enough to stop it.
  15. Awww that's every thread
  16. Couple of his punts late were just God awful decisions. Kick it proper and get some depth on it.
  17. Oliveira crippled Cam "the honourable" Judge today. Should have been used way more because calgary wasn't stopping the run game.
  18. Special teams were ****, the offense was ****, but the D was quite solid. Honestly I don't think the wind was as significant as some people are making it out to be. Yes there were periods it was a factor (like a couple calgary kicks and throws) but for the Bombers it was mostly about calling a stupid game. Calgary had no answer for the run game so of course they get brown to try throwing into coverage because they weren't even trying to go downfield at all. And don't get me started about putting prukop in notnonce but twice to put us in 2nd and long. Just a stupid game. Brown really had no chance given what they were calling for plays.
  19. It's been drizzling off and on throughout the day and supposed to taper off as the evening goes on. I don't expect the weather will affect the game. Might be a bit nippy in the stands though.
  20. Yeah it's crazy, something close to 99% of the time the team that scores more points wins.
  21. Drove into Kelowna Monday evening and left Tuesday midday, wasn't even very smokey now it turns out it's all on fire on the west side. Crazy stuff hope everyone is safe.
  22. On the other hand he did give us that one beauty of a game vs. Bc where Fred Reid and I forget the other guys name absolutely went off to the tune of like 300 yards rushing. So there was one bright spot.
  23. Glenn is too mediocre to win! So here's Stefan Lefors! It was a pants on head stupid move because mediocre Glenn is a hell of a lot better than awful Lefors. Kelly made his mark alright, and it was doomed to fail from the get go and everyone knew it.
  24. I see that influence on the team though. This team has always been physical and not afraid to hurt a guy within the rules. One of the things that makes them tough to beat. You gotta win a 4 quarter street fight.
