  1. Only positive thus far is the family outing taking longer than expected means I haven't missed any of the game...
  2. Rip his bank account having to foot the bill for his wife an extra couple hours at a bar.
  3. And I would simply say McCrae will be in demskis spot... Bailey likely takes on more of demskis role.
  4. Are you under the impression that people working from home don't actually work?
  5. Yeah if the OL had been shaky to start maybe you could say that last week was coming... but they were so dominant thenfirst 2 weeks and so bad against bc... no reason to believe it will happen again. Plus I imagine those guys did not enjoy the film work and are coming to come out with something to prove. Let's get the run game established early and let them take their frustrations out on the Montreal D.
  6. They won't fire a staff before they get their starting qb back.
  7. "It couldn't have been us! Didn't you get the memo?"
  8. They've decided he must be unlikable because of the looks.. so they gave him the Janey Briggs makeover. Lost the glasses, lost the pony tail, lost the paint covered overalls, boom! Whole new person. Do they really think it works like that?
  9. But if it's under thrown and you're an athletic 6'6 receiver you should be able to adjust and make the db take a penalty. The guy is an athletic 6'6... he's open on every play even if the db is there with him. I just don't see him making the kind of plays enough that he is here to make. Maybe my expectations are too high, maybe it's scheme, but I want to see more. Guy is playing in Lawlers spot at the moment, perfect opportunity to grab hold and never let go.
  10. Plus he has taken some shots early on. Including that super douchebaggy dirty as hell late hit at the start of the BC game. Probably needs a break so he doesn't break entirely.
  11. Honestly I think the guy is probably just not bringing enough. Couple big catches but not impressed with his results in the endzone personally. Kenny Lawler he ain't.
  12. Say what you want about hall, hw has shown an ability to adjust.
  13. I see the secondary as a combination of scheme and players.
  14. i got lots of time for Brown too, but we see it all the time in the CFL, qbs get hurt and it's a carousel at backup. always gotta be looking for a guy that you can develop. Collaros ain't exactly young.
  15. I don't like cutting pigrome. Guy was arguably the most exciting recruit they had in training camp. Seems a shame to toss that aside for Prukop who will never be more than a short yardage specialist. Good qbs are so valuable in this league, why use a position on a guy like prukop before you really know if you have anything or not.
  16. No, wrong. Being beaten is different than getting your ass kicked. You don't get your ass handed to you simply by the other team being really really good. It takes both that and a pants pooping on the other side. Like I said, nuance isn't your strong suit.
  17. Anybody out there saying that? I see people saying the Bombers got their asses handed to them because they played a piss poor game. You on the other hand are out here saying the lions were the only factor in how the game unfolded as it did. And surprise! You're wrong again.
  18. Did I say he was terrible? Hall has a long career and his flaws are well known. I also say ad nauseum Hall it pretty good at making adjustments.... he's a guy that can succeed but he can also make it harder than it has to be. He doesn't hide blitzes well. His whole thing is force the short throws. That doesn't work when your players aren't executing as well.
  19. He is just doing his usual shtick where he can't recognize nuance and things are either black or white, and since the lions played well then they must simply have made the Bombers look bad.
  20. You seen anyone denying that? The issue here is that you are pigheadely insisting that it was all the lions making the Bombers look like crap. As I've been saying for far too long, it can be both. Lions played well AND the Bombers played poor. That's usually how ass kickings happen.
  21. This is such a pants on head ******** comment to make. HAI GUYZ!!! TEH SKY IS BLUE!!!11!!1 BC played better than winnipeg did in the game, no ****... that's why winnipeg lost and BC won. That's not what anyone is arguing about. That wasn't the usual effort or execution level from many of the bomber players or coaches. THAT is what people are talking about. You can't deny that. The OL through 2 weeks was dominant and looked worse than the times we trotted out the likes of Skinny Dan Gyetvai at left tackle. But yeah must be totally just because of what BC was doing. sometimes guys have a stinker of a game. Did BC play well? yup they did. Did they look better than they would have because of some poor play from the Bombers? yup certainly happened too.
  22. Anyone who ever thought thus ended well for prigozhin was a fool.
  23. Yeah but the points are misleading anyway. Bombers could have kicked some more field goals if they wanted to massage the score, but the fact that they were just a few big plays from having a shot does say something about that team too. Scores, stats, all these things can lie. For as many problems as the Bombers had the lions really didn't score that much. He'll even their first td came because notnonce but twice dbs didn't even turn around to look for the ball and just ran through the receiver. Offense stunk to high heaven, defence had some cracks but wasn't as objectively bad outside a few plays.
  24. I'd rather they don't even try and pressure him. He only does good stuff on broken plays. Just let him sit in the pocket all day and he will beat himself.
  25. You know both perspectives can be true right? I mean christ I have never seen Stanley Bryant play that badly and he's arguably the best ever OL in cfl history. So in that aspect yes I say it was uncharacteristic pants pooping by a bomber player.
