Uniform changes with Adidas may not be dramatic

I think it's been shown the majority of fans want the classic look back. I don't know how you can come to any other conclusion. -

I know what he means. He is frustrated if the team refuses to listen to its fanbase. -
There weren't a lot of redeeming qualities about the XFL that I remember. Especially "He Hate Me". I think Rod Smart briefly played in the CFL though. I remember something about Jesse Ventura threatening to beat up a head coach. It was crap.

That win in 84 was so long in coming. I remember being so nervous the night before & right thru until we actually won the game. Winning that game was HUGE!

He's old & dreaming on twitter.

NFLE was a developmental league funded by the NFL. Players could play in the spring & come over & sign with an NFL team. It also was meant to grow the 4 down game in Europe as there were teams in Germany, Spain, England & Scotland. It just proved to be so expensive to operate that the NFL shut it down.

Just can't equate what a player did on the field to what he might do as a coach. Good luck to Buck. May he do well & become an OC someday..

Great oogley moogley.

I came across this game on the Internet. I remember this game for a lot of reasons... Trevor Kennerd with a horrible game kicking cost us the game. Hugh Campbell leaving for the NFL's Houston Oilers to become their Head Coach. Ray Jauch leaving to become the Head Coach of the Washington Generals of the USFL. Frustrating to watch a superior Blue Bomber team that day lose to the Eskimos again. Still for the older fans here like me who remember this particular Blue Bomber team it's great to see the players again that I used to cheer for when I was a young fan. The core of these guys went on to win the 1984 Grey Cup. Truth be known, this 82 team under Ray Jauch should have been Grey Cup champions. Just not to be. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hA5KwgOhaHg

Okie doke.

WTF?

Agreed, one has nothing to do with the other.

Frosty, as I said I don't believe you'll ever see a minor league associated with the NFL. Maybe a developmental league like NFL Europa was but never a league like the AHL is for the NHL. To do it properly costs a lot of money though & I don't think the NFL wants to spend that right kind of $$$ right now.
-
Why?
-
Management has figured this out? We'll see. I sure hope so.
-
What would I have them do? I already said it's management & ownership that has to figure this all out. Not blame coaching.
-
Young mean cheap the way I see it. Unless you're Connor McDavid.
-
You mean calling players up or sending them down like the AHL for hockey? Players have to learn systems & terminology which takes months. About the only thing a called up player could do is either go on the PR or play ST until they understand systems & where they fit in. A true minor league just wouldn't work. The CFL kind of acts like a developmental league for the NFL now as players not under contract to CFL teams can try out with teams down south. However, they don't leave mid season. The other thing is limited rosters. Say there was a farm league & a team had a left tackle that was having an outstanding season how would the team replace him if he was called up? You'll never see players being called up to the NFL from any league mid season so IMO there'll never be an NFL farm or minor league.

Read we are LAST in the NHL when it comes to salary. Just a few million above the floor. So yeah, just what can Maurice do? What are the Jets going to do salary wise going forward?
-
i think more questions & criticisms should be directed at ownership & management than coaching. Who supplies the talent for Maurice on the bench? WTH has Cheveldayoff done this past off season? We didn't get better. We got younger & cheaper. Maurice can't coach chicken feathers to be chicken soup.

The Bombers couldn't have heaters either.

The problem with a Canadian back starting is what happens to the ratio when he gets injured? I understand what Wally's saying that it's easier to make the tailback position American than it is to be Canadian. That could be why Calgary hasn't signed Jerome Messam. The Stamps may be thinking it's just easier to sign American backs than to rely on a Canadian one.

Gary Battmen Signs 7 Year Extension

MacLean could get annoying as he did use tv as a his own personal pulpit at times but he knew the game. Strombo knows music. That's where he should be & nowhere near hockey. If they won't bring MacLean back then make Elliott Freedman the host & fire Strombo. Bring in another analyst to take Friedman's place. -
