SPuDs means the way he played in Edmonton when he was looked upon to be a starter before his 2 major injuries.

Speaking of Toews, the Hawks have thrown a ton of money at him & he is the talk of the Windy City. Would you come back? Canadians like living in the US. Americans for the most part don't. Now, if it's a Swedish or Russian player & they want to play in the NHL they'll come here as they're so far away.

People that were successful in all walks of life doesn't mean they'd be great mentors or coaches either. I was in sales for many years & saw lots of successful sales people in the field who didn't know how to motivate the people under them when they became managers. I saw more than a few go back into the field. They were more valuable to the companies I was with as sales reps than managers.

Might be relevant if Americans want to play in or close to their home town or State. I'm sure a lot of Minnesota, Wisconsin & Massacheusetts players would like to play for the Wild, Hawks & Bruins. Once we draft & develop Americans would most of them eventually leave?

A year ago fans were singing the virtues of our young talent at the WJT as well as up & coming Jets team. A year later no prospects at the same tournament & the Jets mired in last place. WTH happened?

"I have a feeling you said what you said in jest". I figured TUP was half kidding.

What does this tweet mean?
-
Nice post, Goalie. Agree with you totally.
-
Another Mr Positron post from the same guy. You say I post the same ****? Just what does "all their resources available" actually mean? This team picked their President, GM, scouting staff & coaches just like every other team. You support status quo so how are we at a disadvantage?
-
Yes, time for Goosen to step up. It should be his spot now.
-
No, you're absolutely wrong. I have a feeling you said what you said in jest but I'd hardly call a coach like Cal Murphy, Bud Grant, Frank Clair, Hugh Campbell, Bill Belichek, Vince Lombardi, Paul Brown or Bill Walsh failures. The same thing could be said of you when you think about it. You promote pro wrestling but you can't perform at a high level in the ring. Like the WWE. Does that mean you're a failure?

Things would be so amped up in a feud like that.

If the Bombers can make 20 years of payments that would be $90 million. If things went off the rails financially at that time I think it still would be a good chunk of money paid down.

I don't understand the new options here or the fact that a comment can't be edited after a few minutes. I just wanted to say in closing that Noeller likes to stir the pot here but so do I...

SI disagree as someone said that with the release of Picard along with other players it leaves us thin on the OL. I said that losing our second pick in the Supplemental Draft really hurts us as chances are a very good National OL will be available at Number 2 & that is where one of our glaring weakness is . By the 9th pick the best National players will be gone. My point? I think it shows that Walters was overly confident & felt we'd finish higher this past season than we did so it was probably a mistake to lose a draft pick like that. Then Noeller comes back with the Stamps thing again trying to somehow say I'm not a Bomber fan but a Stamps fan when he knows nothing about me. I was talking football so who took the discussion off the rails first. me? I insulted no one. I made a comment & was mocked. This whole team is under the gun with decisions that were made going back as far as a couple of seasons. So again, you give me crap but not Noeller??? If you believe the behaviour is wrong then please tell us both to stop. BTW, I have nothing against Noeller, I like the guy. We don't agree but I respect his opinion & always have.
-
Give me a break. You conveniently ignored Noeller's post. If you want to come down on me fine then come down on him for saying what he did. Quit playing favourites around here picking on people you don't like.
-
Ohhhh, that hurts. It really does. It. Really. Does. You got me good. I may never recover from that kill shot.
-
We gave up the second pick in the first round. Instead we pick 9th now... And considering how thin we always are at OL that is good, how???

Sure, why not. Whatever. WWE Network and Wrestlemania

WTH kind of opening sequence was that on Raw Monday night with Vince, Stephanie & Roman Reigns?? I've seen some bad performances & ugly storylines but that was one just about hit bottom. With Stephanie screaming, I just turned it off & never watched the rest of the show as it was so embarrassing. Three hours of Raw has now become unwatchable & I seldom watch from start to finish now. Anymore like the **** they threw at us in the opening segment of Raw I'll stop watching completely. -
This is an anchor around the team's neck & it will eventually pull them under unless in the next half century the CFL finds a way to grow the game spectacularly thru hugely increased revenues which I don't think is going to happen based on what I see now at the gate & in ratings which means decreased advertising revenues long term. At some point in the future, I think the loan will be forgiven because it'll have to be.

We thought he might've had 2 good seasons left when he didn't have one full season. Gigantic waste of money.

Watched the 92 Royal Rumble on the WWE Network a few days ago. Ric Flair won the RR that year. What a phenomenal worker he was & just a great wrestler. And he was in his 40's at the time a little past his prime but still better than most guys in that ring 10 years younger. -
Talk is cheap. Been hearing it now for 2 years. The time for excuses is over. Just win games.
