  1. If you provide a link to a news station's website where they have created a write up of the exact thing you mentioned... does not mean that is already a story? Or do you mean that this news item has the possibility of gaining legs and drum up an anti-trudeau movement because he is spending tax payers hard earned cash on his cushy new digs? Or the fact that a 10000 square foot mansion is not good enough for Justin? Or do mean there is a possibility that Sun news will launch some ridiculous headline like: "Rock Star trudeau, has rock star excessive taste, mansion not enough!" He's Teflon right now... not going to happen (other than in hard right rags). Besides, that link seemed more of a sympathetic mews item. If 24 Sussex Drive is unsafe & has asbestos, mould, plumbing problems & foundation issues it should be fixed or demolished & a new one built. I don't expect our PM (whoever he/she may be or what politcal affiliation they may have) to live in a 1,200 sq ft 3 BR bungalow in the burbs.
  2. Who will come who is better? If MB is fired that's every original coordinator O'Shea hired in 2014.. gone. Yeah, we'll get a quality OC, alright. LOL!
  3. Iso logical? Now that's funny... He makes more sense than someone like you who has their head firmly buried in the sand. Ahhh...typical Dragon37... No, he's referring to typical YOU.
  4. Iso logical? Now that's funny... So tell me, Norman Einstein... We fire 3 offensive coaches then who will come here? Best to blow up the entire coaching staff then keep firing coordinators. And who keeps hiring these coordinators that aren't good enough? Our clueless head coach. Yeah, makes all kind of sense to keep MOS but throw his assistants under the bus.
  5. We Like Mike.
  6. To be replaced with who? Three coordinators fired in 2 years. Who will come here? People that want to keep MOS because we can't attract quality HC's as they get fired yet want MB fired are just kidding themselves. No quality assistant coach will want to come here because all 3 coordinators hired by our brilliant HC will have been fired if Bellefeuille goes. So MB has to stay because no one better will want to be here. This is what happens when you hire crappy head coaches.
  7. The same people here who want Marcel Bellefeuille fired but want to keep MOS because they are concerned we go thru too many head coaches & by gosh, how can we attract good people if we keep firing them? Well then we can't fire MB. He has to come back. I mean, using the logic of some people here, if we fire MB that'll mean 3 coordinators will have been fired in 2 seasons. Just who will want to come coach here? Just what promising offensive coach will want to be the Bombers OC? No one as they know eventually get fired. The same excuse people use to keep MOS around can't demand a MB firing yet expect quality assistant coaches to come here either. So there it is, folks. It doesn't matter. But don't say we need to keep Mike but have to fire Bellefeuille.
  8. MOS had had 2 full seasons minus 1 game & is 12-23. Just how is that not giving MOS a chance & firing him too soon? So, how many coaches want to come here when we fire 3 coordinators (including Hall goes like you want him to) in 2 seasons? Using your argument then no coordinator who is any good will want to come here. No quality position coaches either. So I don't think what you say is correct.
  9. LOL! Try selling that to the fanbase. That would be beyond stupid & proof the Bombers are absolutely rudderless at the top. It's pretty standard though. When Noel was given his one-year extension after his 2nd season, I remember Hustler and Lawless talking about it. They stated the reason for the one-year extension is that it allows the coach some extra degree of control over his players. If the coach is in his final year and thus seen as a lame duck, the players are more likely to tune him out, show disregard for any of his systems or rules as he is likely to be gone by the end of the year. The one year extensions doesn't require much of an additional financial commitment from the organization but it also let's the players know that the coach will be there for the medium term at least. They sited a few examples of these one-year extensions. I would think the same rules apply to football. Players are less likely to tune out a coach if they feel there is an increased likelihood that the coach will be around for an extended period beyond the lame-duck final year. I will be disappointed though if O'shea gets anything beyond a one-year prove-it-or-your-gone extension. Not in football. I've never ever heard of a pro football head coach get an extension with a record of 12-24. Especially the CFL where nickel & dimes are thrown around like sewer covers. Do you think the BOD's want to pay a coach anymore than they should if he's on the road to being fired? It would be an absolute joke & we'd be the laughing stock of the CFL to award Osh with an extension.
  10. Having Hurl play a yard off the LOS eliminates him on at least 50% of the plays. Instead of being 12 on 11 it's 11 on 11 not counting the qb. I saw the Ott guard angle block him & drive him 5 yards away from the play. He isn't big enough to go one on one with a 300 lb monster who has the blocking angle on him so he's dead. It isn't his fault he's invisible. Hurl just gets buried. Just crazy. But that's the Bomber way & THAT IS WHAT WE DO.
  11. Look on the bright side. We now have a bye so we can't lose next week.
  12. This isn't an over reaction either, it really is that bad. Now having said that, you will get the 'we need patience crowd' but frankly those people are either glutens for punishment of just plain stupid, but Manitoba is really full of those types, imo. The We Like Mike movement. Has kind of a ring to it... Like putting your head inside a huge church bell when it chimes.
  13. LOL! Try selling that to the fanbase. That would be beyond stupid & proof the Bombers are absolutely rudderless at the top.
  14. 3 huge turnovers and they were the reason we were even in the game.If you want a reason for the 38 minutes of Ottawa TOP, look no further than the 6 carries for 20 yards by Cam Marshall or the 6 sacks on Matt Nichols. The defense is as much to blame as the offense. Fatigue does not factor in when the defense gives up over 300 yards passing and 19 first downs in the first half. Huge chunks of real estate given up throughout the entire first two quarters including an embarrassing 75 yard td drive at the end of the half. Defense has lots of holes. Maybe, but a bunch of that came when they essentially had to play an entire quarter with maybe a break or two of a play from our O. Hard to ask our D to keep up a high level of play when they can't get off the field for more than a minute. I find it hard to get behind this D with some of the holes on it. I really dislike some of the players - Hurl, Peach, Shell, Bucknor, Anderson when he plays. They just don't seem to have much of a positive effect. The way they use Hurl is just a waste of a player.
  15. Starting qb injury is an excuse. Injuries are part of the game. O is on MOS because he hired MB & lets him do his thing. D is better but ST have cost us games whether it's poor tackling or Liram melting down. No guarantee we'd be much better if Willy played or not. Remember the second half of last season where we lost 9 straight with Willy as qb? Tired of the excuses.
  16. And that is what will happen. If we have posters here saying we'd win with Willy then I say we go 2-6 to start the season in 2016 & the circus will start.
  17. The Big Excuse. We'd win if we had Willy. There's no guarantee about anything. Season ticket sales are going to crater with O'Shea coming back. Miller deserves it if he keeps the coach.
  18. Yet... We Like Mike. We're right on track. Everything is great.
  19. That was one of the strangest calls in a series of strange call this year and last. Ottawa was killing the Bombers with their running and with lightweights on the D-line, Ottawa burned up the clock and got first downs at will in that last drive. Poor coaching is the Hall-mark of this team. Doug Brown suggesting the one constant in all this losing is the BOD. Can't disagree. They hired the people that run this team. Nah, We Like Mike.
  20. Coaching. Evaluation. But We Like Mike so he has to stay.
  21. Friday night is going so well for the Bombers. The Als beat the Argos & the Lions are ahead of the Ti Cats late in the 2nd quarter 23-6. If the Lions win & we lose tomorrow I think that'll be it for our playoff aspirations.
  22. ???? Actually according to the story that particular caucus meeting is.
  23. Don't even get why anyone would listen to him anyway. I'm sure by the time the caucus meeting takes place almost all of Harper's people will be gone or unable to exercise any influence...
  24. Jennings on fire today Two td passes in first quarter. BC 16, Ham 6.
  25. No, you don't get it.
