Instead of barring 60 plus former Cons MP's maybe the answer is to bar Harper.

Week 18 - Hamilton @ BC -- Mont 34 Tor. 2

Rogers refused to switch the field from baseball to football, even though there was enough time. Hey all you bandwagon Jays fans. Rogers just screwed the Argos over & probably cost us a playoff spot. Go Jays!! -
To me, this sums up the final years of the Harper Government. Say what you like about his early years, but toward the end...this was his legacy, and it doesn't seem surprising. And that's the thanks these former MPs get from Harper? That's bad.

He still gives off vibes of no confidence. Shoulders always hunched, head down. -

Als in the lead so far leading 15-0 over the Argos who look like they're running out of gas continually playing on the road. **** Rogers. -
Everytime I see the Grey Cup ticket prices I cry. Oh, I cry.

I think the best candidate shouldn't matter if it is a man or woman. But I haven't a clue as to who that may be.

Fed Up Fan: $5 dollars to get rid of a ticket?

Probably the best post you've ever had. Well written! Thank you. That Bleacher Report description of a being a fan is absolutely out of touch. -
Fed Up Fan: $5 dollars to get rid of a ticket?

I don't buy the "emotionally attached" phrase. I prefer "emotionally invested". Emotionally attached means I can let go of a team as a fan whenever I want or when I get upset. Or just don't care anymore. I have 50 plus years emotionally invested in the Blue Bombers. I remember games, players, even plays from years ago that I could describe to you all the way back to the 1960's. That means I have loved the team & the players that played in Blue & Gold. If I was just emotionally attached, I probably could care less if they win or lose & would have stopped being a fan of the Blue Bombers years ago. I'll tell you what I believe emotionally attached is. Being a Blue Jays fan because they are making a World Series run. Six months ago, most Canadians didn't care about the Blue Jays. People latched on or "attached" to the team because they started winning & it became cool to be a Blue Jays fan. Most probably know very little about the team & would give you a blank stare if you asked them about Joe Carter or Dave Stieb. Truth is, they'll let go from their attachment as early as today if the Royals beat them to take the ALCS. To me, that's what attachment means. Very few fans across Canada are emotionally invested in the Blue Jays. Fans that are emotionally invested means being able to question their team & the way it is played & coached. There is nothing wrong with that. They may not like what's going on but they stick with their team even if they are angry. In good times & bad. To be happy, sad or angry. Not just when times are good. I'm not emotionally attached to the Blue Bombers. I'm emotionally invested. That's how I see it anyway. -
I don't see him as being any different than a Liberal & he's in his 60's now.

Charest was an opportunist leaving the Conservatives to become leader of the Quebec Libs & then premier. He'd never be successful as leader & he has old ties to Brian Mulroney . I vaguely recall this but wasnt it less being an opportunist and more so an effort to thwart the separatists? I mean, I guess it could be both. But I seem to recall there being a lot of positivity around Charest's decision and it impacting the BQ. It could have been but I think Charest knew he had a good chance to be Premier so he left federal politics.

Let's examine the Browns. The 50's belonged to them. Without looking them up to get exact stats, they were in the NFL championship nearly every year between 1950-59. I think they won 4 or 5 titles. Their last one in 1965. They remained a power after the NFL merged with the AFL. Then again were a strong team in the late 70's & 80's before moving to Baltimore. Came back to Cleveland as an expansion team in the late 90s & they have been inept ever since. Like the Bombers, they won championships in the past but don't seem close to winning another one. -
I would be surprised if the next leader was not from Ont., distancing themselves from their reformist roots would be the quickest route to recovery for the Cons. They need to find a way to win more and stronger majorities. Like it or not, the seats are in Ontario. And also distance themselves from candidates who need to be muzzled. I always liked Peter McKay. Now with Harper out of the picture perhaps he'll come back. Jason Kenny is my MP & I just can't see him as leader. I think he'll run but too much baggage from the Reform & Harper eras. McKay is damaged goods and a weasel to boot. Prentice would have been a viable option if he hadn't become impatient and dabbled in provincial politics but if he keeps a low profile and runs for leader in 4 years time, he might have a chance. Living in AB i know first hand about this scum bag. He only wanted to be Premier & was on a huge power trip. When he lost the election he quit before the polls closed. No way this coward ever becomes leader of the Conservatives. You think Harper was out of touch & he had a disastrous campaign? You should've seen Prentice. He was so bad he gave the NDP a majority government. In Alberta no less. That's all you need to know about this guy.

**** Prentice. #quitter

Let's face it, we're the Cleveland Browns of the CFL or the Browns are the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the NFL. Two once proud franchises nearly ground into the dirt by years of inept management & coaching. -
Then it's a **** show like 2013.

I take back some of my criticisim of the guy because he has renewed his tickets for next season. However, he didn't have to embarass the club by posting this on Kijiji. I guess some might say they embarass themselves enough with their play! Why? It's his tickets, he can do what he wants with them. The Bombers have been absolutely terrible for years now - YEARS - save one 6 game stretch to start the season last year. To put it in another perspective - the Ottawa REDBLACKS are only in their second year and though I realize they are one Henry Burris injury away from the bottom of the league they are far and away better than us. Heck, we are starting to sign their cuts!!! What does that tell you. Personally, AFAIK, if you are buying your season tickets like this fellow is, you can do whatever you want. I actually APPLAUD him for doing what he's doing. Of course, most of you don't get it but this poster does. He's a true Blue Bomber fan - who's putting his money where his mouth is, and has probably exasperated every other option so for him this is his last resort - to try and shame the bombers into doing something. 25 years in a mostly 8, sometimes 9 team league, is unacceptable What does a message like this "shame" the Bombers into doing exactly? Just how inept this team has been & looks like it'll continue to be. -

Story out of Regina today that the Riders many take a run at Jim Popp as GM. First Huff & now Popp. -

Actually it is being taught. So, kids are learning. Pretty scary seeing young players get concussions from improper tackling technique.

This is a great video for coaches teaching their players or fans who want to understand the proper way to tackle a ball carrier. Thought I'd put up the video. If one of the mods can make the video visible rather than clicking on the link, please do. http://www.seahawks.com/video/2015/06/11/2015-seahawks-tackling

Orton dislocated his shoulder taking out the garbage at home. Luke Harper is absent due to personal reasons & it isn't known if he'll be back for his HIAC tag team match. Then again, that whole tag team match is now blown up. -
Might as well be as Polar Bears run through the town.
