Nobody is saying anyone is right or wrong. I'm just unsure how you even formed your opinion in the first place because there's literally nothing for us to use as evidence. Watching the CFL for 50 years. Seeing thousands of players come & go. A hunch perhaps? An opinion, certainly.

I can't believe that Miller would be that stupid to bring back Taman. However, Miller did play for the Bombers when Taman was here before so.... -
I don't know if he's concerned. I've always felt Cornish is a different kind of player in that he thinks he doesn't need to play football & could walk away from the game anytime he wants. Especially after the comments he made to the Calgary media last year about enjoying time off during the summer not playing football & his unwillingness to get back into the lineup even after his symptoms were gone. He seemed disconnected last year from the team. Of course, last year he didn't have Jerome Messam here. Only Matt Walter & whatever International running back the Stamps were employing at the time. Messam may make his healing process speed up a bit.

It's really scary when Brendan Taman is being discussed as our new GM on radio if Kyle Walters leaves. -
You know, the angst made by a simple one line comment. I think we can do better. Who is to say I'm right or you're wrong? Or vice versa? Ultimately, the coaches will decide.

Even if there were no concussion protocols like in the 70's, playing with a stiff neck wouldn't be smart.

Harris is extremely good but until he wins a GC, no. -
Google Trevor Harris and check how many years he's with the Argos before he became a starter for them this year. And if not for Ray injury he's probably still the #2. So, you keep a guy around based on Trevor Harris? I'd also say Scott Milanovich's system is a lot better than ours seeing he won a couple of GC's & MB has won how many? And I'd also say he is a better qb coach than the guy we have here now.

I don't really understand the point of what you're saying here. You're talking about our 4th string QB being a non-factor as if that's a bad thing and the only thing anyone said in response was that it's kind of early to say get rid of the guy when you don't even have a body of work to point to in argument. If you really want to be argumentative, let's point to the fact that the ONLY body of work the guy has for us as fans to measure him by is a 9/10, 75 yard, 1 TD performance in the preseason. Would you cut him based off that? Or simply because he hasn't fulfilled your hopes of a meteoric rise up the depth chart? Of course, then in a fashion that has become so typical of you that you may want to look into trademarking the term "Isoed", you treat any statement that falls contrary to what you said as a personal beef. As far as what I saw? I saw someone say, in simpler terms, "maybe we shouldn't assume he's worth cutting, we don't really have much to go off" tl;dr? What TrueBlue said. "Classic." Yeah, actually I would cut him. He's couldn't even begin to work his way to being close onto the field all season long. There are other qbs out there that are better. We need to keep looking.

With the trades yesterday, the site may crash.

According to CFL.ca Matt Nicholls still plays for the Eskimos about 6 weeks after he was traded to Winnipeg. Check the passing stats. Very pathetic considering it is the official site of the CFL.

You can have em, I don't want em, they're too short for me. Smurfs. -
<insert Jim Carey "Dumb and Dumber meme> Lol, sure he has a chance. So do you or I if we are the starting QB, 1/1,000,000 maybe but it's still a chance. I'll grant that Glenn's chances are likely a little better than ours. No, Glenn can throw the football better than you & me. The guy is a pro qb. He's he's the best qb the Als could find & certainly better than Crompton, Marsh & Cato. He was the best qb the Als could get & he came cheap.

Messam to Calgary for Crapigna & 3 rounder & neg list

This discussion is already taking place in the CFL thread. -
Well, what you want & what you get are two different things. I don't like minority governments. Unstable & too many elections. Our dollar is low enough as it is & having a minority won't do it or the economy any good.
-
Walter is an okay back. If Messam signs a new deal with the Stamps he may be the odd man out.
-
Als have a good OL. If he has the time to throw he has a chance to beat any team.

The Stamps trade for Messam has nothing to do with the Cornish injury but the ratio. Meaning Hufnagel wanted to maintain the ration in the backfield as National OT Dan Federkeil is out & the Stamps will have to rely on two International tackles on the offensive line the rest of the way. http://stampeders.com/video/index/id/118117 -

So we lose huge to the Als & lose by a few points to the Esks & Stamps. Your logic really means nothing. -

That's one thing that Cornish is. He is smart & could walk away from football once healthy & have no regrets.
-
he's becoming the anti Jabari Arthur... Who is a 10 year veteran sitting on the Stamps roster being paid to come to practice. He'll never play.
-
According to a Nanos poll released by CTV today, the Libs are at 36.1 % & rising with 1 week to go. This could mean a Liberal majority.
-
That doesn't sound good. Cornish is no longer a back who can be counted on for every game.
