Stamps are going to get eaten up the middle on run plays.

What's the Obama logic of flying a manned mission to an asteroid by 2025 (yeah, sure) instead of a manned mission to Mars, a planet that has been extensively explored by unmanned missions to the Red Planet? His administration cancelled or reduced budgets & thousands of engineers & scientists were laid off at NASA. So how this supposed to somehow spur deep space missions to anywhere?

Around the CFL Regular Season Discussion
iso_55 replied to gbill2004's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
That's the problem when you have the GM & HC with the title "Interim" in front of their names. They do what they think is best for their careers not necessarily what's best long term for the team. -

Watch the Glenn sweepstakes heat up when the Ti Cat rookie qbs suck this weekend. -
Deron Mayo can play Simpson's spot. He's a very good linebacker.

Arquette was on Russo not Bischoff. -
Hollow words. Her president grounded the manned space program. American astronauts have to use Russian rockets to get to the ISS.
-
Yeah, 2 very good players on defense. They got ass kicked but won.
-
Just saw a tweet that Simpson is out 4-6 weeks with a broken clavicle. He is the leader on that defense. Big loss. But the Stamps have made the playoffs so he should be back in time for the West Final. If the Stamps make it that far.

I can't decide if I hate Rod Black more than Glen Suitor
iso_55 replied to no71's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
How many of us turn on a game on TSN & are genuinely relieved when we see it isn't Rod Black doing the broadcast? I think that says it all. -
We should just stop learning??? I don't understand that POV.Learning is nice, but have we really gotten anywhere with our expanded knowledge? New tech, same old evil. I like indoor plumbing and electricity. I consider these to be good things. I got tired of cooking 3 meals on an open fire everyday so I invented the stove. ****, I just killed my best friend when I clubbed him over the head with my axe when he looked a bit too longingly at my wife's legs. I shouldn't have done that. I know that now. I hope I remember that tomorrow next time I lose my temper. What a mess to clean up.

No End Call - CFL confirms it was an incorrect call
iso_55 replied to Floyd's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
You know what, I really can't just let this one go. Too many times the CFL has come back after a game like this and said to the Bombers "Sorry, we blew the call". Once OK but it's happened so many times and it always seems to be to the Bombers I just can not let this kind of gross incompetence slide anymore. I demand reparations. The apology was less than a whisper after midnight. No mention of it on the CFL.ca site and the only reference was in a game summary. "The Bombers almost pulled off a dramatic comeback in front of an energetic Investors Group Field crowd, scoring on a Rory Kohlert touchdown then getting the ball back just 11 seconds later. But their late rally was stumped on a penalty following a third-down conversion, forcing Hajrullahu to try a long field goal that he couldn't connect on." They did not even have the gonads to say that the penalty that "stumped" them was controversial. Yeah, Johnson refused. Man up & say we blew it & WE ARE SORRY. @$$hole. -
"If they're good"... that's the key words here. Jury's out. Yeah but we have someone specifically saying to hire experience. I'm just pointing out that hiring the right person has nothing to do with experience. Millanovich & Jones had a lot more experience as O & D coordinators before they became head coaches. They coached under different head coaches & systems. They were both Grey Cup champions before they became head coaches. MOS was a ST coach & had no experience other than a few seasons doing that in Toronto. I'm sorry but if Mark Killam & Ti Cats DC Orlando Steinhauer were available I wouldn't be hiring Killam. Even though he's been a successful ST coordinator in Calgary the past 5 years.

No End Call - CFL confirms it was an incorrect call

But Adams is allowed the yard from the line of scrimmage. He CAN move. Unless you're insinuating the rule should be changed? No I'm insinuating that he moved off the LOS. He's more than a yard away from the line judge when the ball comes up and the LJ should be on the LOS to get the right angle. He moved off with the 1/2 step he took back, but with the LOS being the 37 1/2 yard line, his right foot was on on the 38 when the ball was snapped. He was only about 1/2 yard off the LOS (which is allowed) regardless of where the side judge was standing. I'm going from the loop I saw on twitter after the game showing the LJ pointing while Adams was moving then Adams settling down and taking a half step back. CFL and TSN game logs say 37 yard line. Of course that could be 37 1/2. I can't find the loop anymore, do you have a link? CFL has already admitted it was a blown call so not sure what the argument is about at this point. It is black and white. The officials blew it. End of story. Yes, let's end this & move on. everything that has could have been said has been said. -

Can't tell me that Bischoff's input for Raw & Smackdown wouldn't be valuable compared to what they're doing now. -

I watched Fall Brawl 97 Sunday evening on WWE Network with the War Games double ring covered by a steel cage with the NWO made up of Kevin Nash, Konnan, Sixx & Buff Bagwell vs WCW made up of Ric Flair, Chris Benoit, Steve "Mongo" McMichael & Mr Perfect Curt Hennig. That was the match Mr Perfect turnedon his teammates & joined NWO. The headshot Flair took from Perfect who slammed the cage door in his face looked nasty then (as I remember that match) & it still looks nasty now 19 years later. The NWO was a stunning idea from Bischoff. Even the theme music was ground breaking for professional wrestling but even just a few months after Hall & Nash debuted with Hogan you had guys like Konnan in the faction... Konnan?? Holy crap, what a brutal wrestler he was & probably still is. And Buff Bagwell. hardly one of the elites in the ring. WCW might have got a bit more mileage out of the NWO if some of the really impactful heel & face wrestlers had joined & then kept the group to 5 or 6 guys.Flair & Benoit should have been part of that group even though Flair was looked upon as the face of WCW at the time more than Sting. Benoit should have been a part of the NWO as well. Instead they had no talents like Scott Norton, Konnan, Sixx & Bagwell as part of that faction. And then eventually the NWO Black, Red & Latino. Soon, even Santa Claus was wrestling in WCW. -
Marcel Bellefeuille - When does he get axed
iso_55 replied to Brandon's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Well, Ritchie Hall hall did a great job adjusting at halftime completely shutting down Cornish in the second half. The Stamps run game ground to a total halt in the 3rd & 4th quarter especially so it's unfair to say that all of our coaches can't make adjustments at halftime. Just ONE coordinator can't make adjustments & we all know who he is. Ritchie Hall can make adjustments & did so by shutting down the Cornish strut. I think Jon had visions of having a 200 yard game against the Bombers. After the way he ran in the first half, did anyone think he'd only end up with 94 yards? Hats off to Ritchie Hall for calling a great defensive game. -
Gainor? On Survivorman, Les Stroud says gophers taste like chicken on a spit.

Can we can this bully stuff? It's childish & stupid. If there actually members here targeting others to try to humiliate & intimidate people here they don't like then shame on them.
