Brohm should be cut. He doesn't deserve to be on the team anymore.

Week 10 Aug 30 Sask@Ott. (Tor 15 Edm. 38)

They benched Smith for Sunseri. LOL! Wow... Send Smith here. -
If your logic holds, that would mean that if Davis starts or even plays, we are down to desperation. Not beyond imagination.Davis looked good in the pre season in Calgary. He throws a nice ball. And is athletic. From what I saw in Calgary he looks more pro ready than Marve. The Stamps kept Brian Moniz over Davis as the coaches felt the was a better short yardage quarterback. At this point why not play him?Bellefeuille would probably ruin him. Davis looked good. A lot of Stamps fans were surprised Moniz beat him out. the thing with the Stamps is, having a 25 year old starter & a 31 year old back up there's really no need to groom a starter down the road as both BLM & Tate will be around for a long time.

Do or Die Detailed Half Time Report...

Maybe Waggoner can throw the ball? Unbelievable. If you hold the first pick you can trade it for assets or make the pick. No offense to Waggoner but we're really handicapped here. We won't be rebuilding our OL with a second round pick. -

Do or Die Detailed Half Time Report...

We should trade our first round pick in next year's CFL Draft for a veteran qb who can come in & play. Oh wait.... -
It took a year & a half to start Marve so how many seasons will it be to give Dominique Davis a chance? I mean, he's only been here 2 months... If he can't learn the offense well enough in that time to play then why is Davis here?

I have a dream...

I think that's a bit of an over-reaction, generally other than a few positions like MLB, backup QB and overall O-Line strength I believe the Bombers have the personnel in place to compete with any team. Moving Bass to MLB and allowing a rotation of Hurl, Sherman and Newman at OLB would show an immediate improvement in the D imo. While the other two areas are more difficult to fix I think adding an extra import on the O-line would be a rational move to make at this point. We brought in someone to play MLB so why not play him there? We could not play him yesterday because we used four import receivers but between Veltung and Gordon they caught one pass between them. Our Canadians would have done no worst. They killed us with curl ins because the middle was a free spot. Bass should be playing MLB as he's strong, fast & a tackling machine. Hurl should be moved outside where he would be more effective.

Do or Die Detailed Half Time Report...

Brian "The Gopher" Brohm. The next 2 games Gaynor better wear a helmet as The Gopher is coming after him like a heat seeking missile. -
Jason Boltus, September 2013 vs the Lions was far, far, far worse.

O'Shea is a terrible head coach. The only difference between he & Burke is he doesn't cry. Results exactly the same. They lose & lose & lose. Iso...what hard facts do you have that proves Mike O'Shea a terrible head coach? Sure you can look at the record but i'm not sure that alone is evidence enough. In my opinion Mike O'Shea is at this time an average head coach who could become a good one. But even the best head coaches in this league have had their lows. Other than that you have no real evidence of his ability to coach. Other than your subjective views. Yeah, I do. 4-14 the past 18 games. That's a hard fact. Head coaches get fired with a record like that. You can spin things any way you want but the bottom line to me is his record. He's brutal. I hope you didn't take too much time and energy to come up with this response. You deny that??? C'mon, seriously, lots of coaches who were great guys have been fired. Most of them very smart & capable but they were only judged by their won/loss record. Coaches are ultimately paid to win & not to just coach. That's the business of pro football. Winning teams sell tickets. Losing coaches get fired. You may like MOS & think this debacle isn't his fault but he'll be the first casualty by management. Walters will fire O'Shea & not himself.

Yeah but Cortez has a good track record. MB does not. You can't compare the two.Yes. But the point was not to settle on finding scapegoats when the trouble is more wide spread.as a Hamilton fan you should know bellefool isn't the answer to anything, butitblows my mind how bomber fans are quick to throw O'Shea under the bus when it's clearly Walters and co not giving the team enough talent or depth to compete. Seriously guys, we are nowhere close to being deep enough or good enough on paper. i agree with you 100% 17. This is on Walters & his scouts. But... MOS doesn't look like he's the kind of coach who can squeeze every ounce out of his team. That just makes the lack of talent worse. Like I said on another thread, MOS patted a player on the helmet after committing a major foul on the field. In other words it was okay to screw up. Guys need to play with an edge. They should fear their coaches & worry about not performing to the expectations of the coaching staff. A little fear is always a good thing for motivation. I just don't sense that with the Bombers. Don Matthews was considered a player's coach until you didn't play well for him. Then players felt his wrath or were gone. More than one former player said they liked or even loved The Don but were still afraid of him.

I think it's obvious that Bellefeuille doesn't design an offense around a qb like Marve's strength, He expects the qb to play in his system. Things aren't going to change. It'll be the same thing next week. At the same time for a qb to develop he has to learn to stay in the pocket, do his reads & progressions & throw the football. You can run around in college & be successful but you can't in the CFL. At the same time there could be plays incorporated to suit Marve's strength like rollouts where he's on the edge & if no one is open he can tuck it & run. Or more zone reads where he runs with the football instead of giving it to the running back. The thing that Marve has going for him that Willy doesn't is that he can use his legs to get out of trouble & Willy can't. Marve has to develop better pocket awareness & know when it's time to bail. He also has to get rid of the football quicker. During the broadcast Matt Dunigan questioned Marve's decision making on one of the few passes he threw deep. He looked to one receiver who was open yet chose another who was double covered downfield. Matt said that Marve looked to the open receiver but for some reason went the other way, Matt said that he "didn't trust his eyes" which is a common vernacular coaching qbs. In other words, find the open guy, see him, believe it & throw to him. Don't overthink just do. The only way that happens is experience & success. Marve will get the experience but if he's shell shocked he'll never have success & won't get better. We've all seen rookie qbs that just don't make it despite having all the tools to be successful. It'll be interesting to see if Bellefeuille system kills Marve as a player or not.

I didn't know coaches can take on field penalties or miss their assignments. Preparation so they don't make mistakes.

The Stamps had wrapped up first place. It was a nothing game to them & they rested a number of key veterans. The focus was the western Final & not the Bombers. To the Stamps it was like an exhibition game & they played a number of backups that game. I don't think BLM or Cornish played the entire game.

This team will be lucky to win one, maybe two more games this season. You can put lipstick on a pig but it's still a pig.

I think that has just about run it's course. Shame too as the fans deserve so much more than the morons who run this team give us.
-
The crime here is that Walters, the scouts & coaching staff decided to stand pat with their qbs & created absolutely no competition behind Willy & have no viable CFL backup & developmental player at the position. I mean, how could the entire organization to a man in management, scouting & coaching have been so stupid. That decision alone proves all of them should be gone. A team should never stand pat at any position especially coming off a 6-12 season. Now it looks like this team could be worse than last year. I have no confidence the people running this team have the capability to ever bring us a winning team.

And the guy who lives upstairs. Kyle Walters.

This regime is absolutely lost. From the GM down to coaches & then to the players. We haven't got the players to win & the coaches don't know what to do to stop the habitual losing. If you think 3-6 is bad, we're looking at a 3-15 or maybe a 4-14 season folks. This is going to be like a snowball rolling down a mountain before it's over. It's going to get real ugly.

Fire MOS then resign.
