Amazed that Chamblin has survived this long. The guy is a horrible head coach. His huge ego & obvious chip on his shoulder have done him in.. The Riders BOD are equally as pathetic for letting things go on this long. But hey, I love watching the Riders lose. They're nearly halfway to my dream season... They go 0-18.

If Getzlaf is still out when we play the Riders then Job #1 for the Bombers is to find a way to neutralize Dressler as best they can. The Riders move him all over the place offensively to get him the ball. Stopping Messam will be job #2 & I don''t know if we will be able to do that.

I have no confidence that the Bombers will be better than 4-14. Only hope. Being a Bomber fan is tough. It never seems to get better. Only the same or worse. But I still cheer for them. Always will.

you can't compare the CFL in the 80s to now. The NFL was not the juggernaut it is now. The salary cap - if there was one - was not enforced, we could offer more money to lure some players away from teams when they were unhappy with there situations. They certainly were not scouting Canadians at all, so no player ever left for greener pastures. Remember the marquee player rule? There is so many factors that lower the talent across the CFL that were not present in the 80s. So, yes, the talent coming out of the CIS has definitely improved, but yes, there is definitely still a drop in talent across the league. In the 80's a player like Henoc Muamba would have been a Bomber for a decade. Now, it's one or 2 good seasons & it's sayonara CFL & hello NFL.

At some point people say that enough is enough. The ticket price outweighs the value of what it truly is worth & fans refuse to buy them. That's why only 25,000 seats have been sold for the Grey Cup. And it's happening right across the CFL but it's clear the league just does not get it or pretends everything is just fine when it isn't.

One thing the CFL has to do is insist TSN FIRE ROD BLACK. He just adds to the perception that the CFL is a glorified minor league with his ghastly broadcasts.
