BC Lions just tweeted that Solomon Elimimian has a torn achilles tendon & has been put on the 6 game injured list. Who are they kidding? He's gone for the rest of the season now. Huge loss for them.

I've seen teams like the Cats crash & burn plenty over the years. The Stamps in the 90's & 2000's, the Riders of 2011 & 14, the Bombers, yes the Bombers on more than one occasion in the past. Just because you are pummeling opponents in August doesn't guarantee a Grey Cup victory in November. Injuries here, a bad bounce there & that cockiness goes away in a hurry. Hamilton is good but they haven't won anything yet.

At home maybe. Not so much on the road or in the Grey Cup.

As far as the ratio goes, what difference does it make if Hurl is moved outside & Bass inside? It's just a lateral move.The same 2 guys play.

A little too exuberant last night handing it to the Lions? Especially Reinebold. Jumping up & down laughing on the sidelines. Carrying on like he won the Grey Cup. The Ti Cat players & coaches were really enjoying themselves on the sidelines. Was it a bit much? Not very classy? Okay to be that way? This is a team on a roll at home undefeated but only 2-2 on the road. Curious as to what everyone thinks.

I just don't get our coaching staff. Playing guys out of position so they can't do as well as they might because of some stupid philosophy. As in playing a Canadian at MLB. Our coaches are the worst in the league.

Hamilton hasn't developed a Qb in 30 years. All they did was sign Collaros from Toronto. They are one of the Grey Cup favorites. Bombers won a Grey Cup with Saskatchewan's castoff Tom Burgess in 1990. It can be done, but the team will need to improve its Canadian content and do a significantly better job of recruiting from the US. It remains to be seen if Walter is up to the task. Not many teams develop their own qbs. Especially with free agency nowadays. So, I don't get the angst.

That's what coaches do, they bounce around. Nature of the business. Bouncing around means nothing.

Speaking of Ottawa, WR Mo Price's time as a pro in that city has to be coming to an end. He can't get open as he seems to have lost a step & his production is abysmal. Better to get younger & cheaper at the position than keep paying an overpriced veteran player who has seen better days behind him. On the plus side, not being productive means he isn't getting injured all the time as he's as tough as glass in a china shop.

So, after the game on CFL Horsemen last night a fan posts that linebacker Jesper Simmons & his agent were both going off on twitter. They were extremely critical of the Stamps & John Hufnagel for not playing him at all this season including yesterday & that he wants out. I haven't seen the tweets or know Simmon's agent's name. The guy was a pretty good linebacker in Ottawa in 2014 but can't crack the Stamps lineup. It'll be interesting to see what Huff does now if the guy is that unhappy. I think Simmons is on the 46 man roster & may just play STs. Not sure, though.

Don't agree that we have the best personnel offensively since 2007. Our OL isn't very good & they have to be included in the conversation.
