Goodlow was outstanding. He just did not drop any passes. I was really disappointed when he left. was not surprised though. Although he didn't have much of an NFL career, a year or two I think. New Orleans. (looked it up a while ago) He played more than that. I think he lasted 7 years with 2 NFL teams.

Lack of discipline is on Chamblin as the HC. He sets the tone on the team so he is responsible.

That was a fun game. I never disliked Brock. The guy was a super star qb. All I know is he couldn't wait to get out of Winnipeg at seasons end. Like the car was packed & ready to go before the last game was played. I just know we traded him for Tommy Clements & I was never happier.

It's old and showing it's age, but it's still a good place to watch football. Not really any poor seats to watch from, yeah there;s bench seats in the endzone sections and maybe up in the nose bleeds, but so what? Not like putting a board on the back makes things any more comfortable. the one time I sat on the benches at Mcmahon I was just glad the attendance was so sparse, for where the seats are outlined I don't know how you actually fit 1 person per spot. That said I'm above average in both height and weight so seating room is always something I'm looking at. The benches at Mcmahon were awful from what I recall, the actual seats are fine. The times I've been to IGF the legroom in some areas was fantastic, and seemed to be above average anywhere I sat. MTS Centre however I don't like going to on the other hand. I went to a world junior pre-tournament game there a decade ago, the leg room was bad enough I've turned down free NHL tickets because I just don't want to sit in there again. Having to go up & down 60 rows to get a hot dog or use the bathroom meantime not seeing the game as the narrow concourses are below the stands is no fun. McMahon isn't quite a dump yet but it's fast getting there.

Some die hard fans in Calgary still love McMahon even though most fans don't. These fans are very vocal in their support but haven't ventured out much & saw a game in Winnipeg so they have no idea.

Heenan never struck me as a guy who's blinded by loyalty to play for the Riders even though he's from Saskatchewan. He could sign elsewhere if there is a bidding war.

If he's charged it just can't be business as usual. Chances are he'd be arrested & thrown in jail anyway until his trial.

All time favourites. I'd rush home after school to watch these two shows. Growing up during the early days of the Mercury & Gemini space programs, it was great being a kid in those days. We all thought we'd be travelling the stars or living on Mars by now. Optimism reigned supreme. Didn't work out that way.
