I know I keep bringing up John Chick but I'm shocked at how fast his game has regressed. To the point that if he ever was available for the Bombers, I wouldn't want him. The guy has become totally irrelevant as a player. He's just playing to get paid now & probably wondering when the gravy train comes to an end. Any rebuild would have to involve his release in order to get younger & take his contract off the books.

Ray could retire. At 37, he has injury troubles & isn't as athletic as Burris so would any team want him to be their starter with his salary? The Argos want a qb long term which is what Harris would give them. Or they'll lose him. New ownership, moving into BMO Field has actual expectations of not only winning but selling out. Letting Harris get away isn't the right decision. I mean, even at 30... Harris isn't young anymore & the business of grooming a proper backup for him who can play would have to start. Exactly. They made a choice to not really pursue retaining a player. I'm not saying it's right or wrong, but a choice was made much like Saskatchewan chose to keep Durant knowing Willy would pursue an opportunity to start. Durant was the proven commodity. It was the right decision at the time.

in an interview upon arriving at the Regina Airport today, Chamblin was asked about his screaming session with Demski on the sidelines. He claims he never yelled at Demski as he thinks yelling at players is a negative. Chamblin said he was trying to give him encouragement after the offside penalty. Like, sure. That's not what I saw. If that is giving a player encouragement, I wonder what getting angry for him is all about.
