  1. Extreme eye roll. What about Larry Taylor's punt return in 2012 that cost the Stamps a Grey Cup & gave the Grey Cup to Toronto, Zontar? The penalty on the return was called against the Stamps. **** happens.
  2. He had already beat the guy Reed blocked in the back so he would've scored regardless, but the one they DIDN'T call on the downfield holding easily assisted him. That's the one I'm referring to. I saw the flag & thought it was on that.
  3. We need a coaches revamp. Everyone knows it seems but Mike O'Shea. It will be his ultimate downfall.
  4. Sorry but none of this makes any sense. They played Eastern teams 8 times and Western teams 10 times, just like every other team in the league. Furthermore their 9-9 record would have made the playoffs in the West (they swept BC so would have the tiebreaker). As for the last statement, well, I don't really know what that means. "It doesn't make them a good team, it makes them good enough"? OK. I say a team that finishes .500 or better and wins a playoff game while also having a top 3 defence and an all-Canadian OL, is a pretty good team. But I guess your definition differs from mine. Most Bomber fans would kill for an okay team... Oops PLAYOFF team!
  5. I really have no idea. It's just my feeling that this is a matter of principal with O'Shea. They are his coordinators and no one is going to tell him who he can and can't have. If that's the case, then Walters would be treading on very dangerous ground if he was to push the issue. Would O'Shea resign if he was told that he had to get rid of either of them? What level of turmoil is the GM prepared to cause? Or will he simply tell O'Shea that if he wants to keep them then that will be on his (O'Shea's) head and his alone and then let next year's chips fall where they may? One thing about life in Bomberland, it's always interesting and there's never any time that has to be wasted planning for playoff games or victory parades. I really have no idea. What exactly has MOS won for any of us including Walters to be afraid of if he resigns? Other than 6 games?? Unreal. If he resigned tomorrow over this, I'd say don't let the door hit you on the way out, coach.
  6. If they don't make changes they all deserve to finish last & be fired next year.
  7. I saw an illegal block but not Reed & saw the flag thinking it was on that. Turned out it was Reed's so yes, there was more than one infraction on that return. It was a good call. Reed hit the Stamps player from behind. That's illegal & a flag everytime.
  8. He's paid his dues.
  9. No one has to "support a gay lifstyle"- all people have to do is treat them the same as everyone else with the same rights and priviledges. Sexuality is not a digital either "perfectly straight" or "totally gay" choice. Sexuality is an analog thing along a sliding scale and homosexuality exists in the animal kingdom as well. I have seen a few examples of homosexuality in animals, but only when the other option wasn't available. I have also seen bulls and boars beat each other into a bloody pulp. At any rate, I don't think comparisons to the animal kingdom help homosexual rights very much. For example, many male mammals and birds do nothing to help raise their offspring. Do we then use that example to defend deadbeat dads? As my last comment on this- homosexual behaviour in animals (including primates) is not contingent on a lack of choice of partners- it appears to be innate. If you think that being gay is a matter of choice, ask yourself: when was the time when you found yourself equally attracted to both genders but made a conscious decision to go one way or another? Who will actually answer that?
  10. Strongly agree on the failed TD (finger tackles again lol) but he got ROCKED on that fumble.. Wasn't surprised he dropped it. Too bad he wasn't lit up like Maver.
  11. The thing that is getting a lot of Stamps fans here up in arms is the fact that TSN pulled the wool right out of the rug of the 2 radio stations who are the rightsholders for their teams. CHML in Hamilton & CHQR in Calgary. Local fans of the 2 teams who have listened for years to their broadcast teams on their radio stations had to instead listen to Rod Black do the pbp. In Hamilton it was worse than here as there's a TSN station in that city so they broadcast the game & CHML was left out in the cold. To put it in perspective, if the Bombers make it to the Grey Cup at IGF next year, Bob Irving & CJOB will not be allowed to broadcast the game. Just a stupid decision to allow TSN to do that. These radio stations paid big bucks for the broadcast rights & the CFL just didn't care. Rod ******* Black. What an insult.
  12. What did he do? Missed it. Laid on the sideline crying rather than getting out there with the offense to try to win the game. Yup.. Just embarrassing.. He was their only legit deep ball threat and how does he face adversity? Crying and punching the ground.. What a dumbass.. Great talent but not much upstairs apparently.. Diva... Throws his teammate under the bus with his tantrum. Get out on the field & quit feeling sorry for yourself.
  13. Grigsby losing. Sweeeeeet.
  14. Loved seeing Grigsby with that fumble...
  15. Sorry, for some reason I thought you were a woman.
  16. Wow has this thread turned. LOL!
  17. Yeah bad twitter. Now go to your room.
  18. The Bombers drive us nuts. Truly....
  19. Let's hope Grigsby partied too much last night & stinks it up today which I think he will. Hangover or not.
  20. Mike O'Shea said on Hustler & Lawless Friday that he hasn't finished his coaches evaluations because he hasn't figured out the way he wants to do it. I just went "What???"
  21. If so, it would be another brain-dead decision in a series of brain-dead decisions in Toronto over decades, Like we're SO MUCH BETTER.. Our entire organization has been brain dead for 15 years. Didn't you say you were going to stop doing that? This has nothing to do with Winnipeg. Well tracker made a comment about the Argos & she's right about Toronto. I just stated the obvious. You saying it's not true, Mike? Who cares if this is about the Argos. In a way, it's also about us & our futility. Especially with the hires we've made over the years, the decisions that came afterwards on general managers, coaches, draft choices, personnel & just today stories that we won't approach George Cortez about being our OC.
