Why? Each has his own personal decision. If Dickenson is happy and comfortable to remain being an OC no one can fault him for that. Plus he is successful with it. If Garcia wants a big jump from QB coach to Head Coach no one can fault for that either. He believe he's ready for that. Will he be successful? That remain to be seen. Matt Dunigan went from retired qb to studio analyst to Stampeder HC. It was a huge fail. Garcia has the playing but not coaching experience. I truly believe that he needs to be a successful coordinator first before he becomes a HC.

If there is a power struggle going on it must be totally epic. The season ended three weeks ago. Nukes are to be deployed.

yeah but I'd expect anyone who says dumb things to take their lumps for it without complaining. The problem is that the guy takes everything so personally. He's got the wrong attitude to be posting on a rival site. Not sure why he feels like he so desperately needs to be accepted but most people who venture to rival teams sites understand that they need to have a thick skin. A decade ago I posted on Rider Fans. Back in those days most members there weren't like they are now. It actually wasn't a bad place but even then I felt like I was walking on egg shells all the time. I'd never post there now. I think it's better to stick with the team you cheer for & the same fanbase.

Mo Price was a healthy scratch yesterday in favour of Eric Rogers. Calgary Sun reporting that Price was so upset he never showed up for the game & it has rubbed the organization the wrong way. He may be trade bait. The Bombers should make a trade for him.

We are not still paying Lapo. Back at the fan forum Wade Miller said all of the fired coaches/GM/Presidents were off the books. Lapo made it pretty clear during the last off-season when he turned down a few job offers that he wasn't interested in being a coordinator again. Glad to hear that, Jacquie as we are cash strapped enough as an organization carrying that heavy stadium debt.

Benevides will probably stay away as his contract isn't up for 2 years more. look at LaPo. he went to work for TSN. made some good $$$ & still being paid by us. He'll really have to go back to work next season.

Right now, BLM is the best young qb in the CFL. Personally,I'd have picked him over Mike Reilly as the West All Star qb. I don't know about Collaros. He can scramble to evade the rush & can make things happen but against that defense in the Big Game? That'll be a yeomans task. Stamps may be thin on the DL with some injuries they picked up today but their lbers & secondary will make up for it. The TiCat DL impresses me with Laurent & Gaydosh. They are studs but the Stamps OL is very, very good. There'll be some great matchups next Sunday. On another note, glad to see the McMahon Stadium crowd applaud Mike Reilly after he was taken to the locker room on a cart. They appreciated the effort he put in today on one leg.

It's obvious that Reilly wasn't going to have a long term CFL career, but Jones is doing everything he can to expedite that process. Which brings the pocket passers vs. scramblers debate to mind... Jones knew how bad Reilly was hurt on the sidelines today & he put his ego ahead of his player's safety. He never said told him, "Nice job but no more today".
