Bill Frank that guy was a stud.

little bit early to say Dinwiddie hasn't had success coaching isn't it? Not even half a year into his first gig, never mind that he was only brought in to be a QB coach initially anyway. The best players don't always wind up being the best coaches. Scott Milanovich wasn't anything exciting at qb and he seems to be doing fine coaching, Whereas Matt Dunigan was a great qb and not much of a coach. As far as being coaches go neither one of them has proven anything and how good a player was has very little to do with how good a coach they wind up being. Matt could have been a great coach but he wasn't willing to pay his dues. He never was a qb coach, starting on the bottom & working his way up. He accepted a dual position of GM & HC of the Stamps with zero experience so you kinda knew it was bound to fail. Especially with the dysfunctional owner the team had at the time. Had he coached qbs, then became an OC maybe now he'd be a successful HC in the CFL or somewhere else. He never went back to coaching after he was fired.

All they need now is a quarterback & they'll be good to go.

Apparently he is the only coach on staff with his own locker with the players.

Riders unveil their "Signature Look" jersey

You mean, you don't understand the part where the Stampeders are the real redblacks? The Ottawa redblacks are really the whiteblacks on the road & mostly black at home. From what I'm hearing here & elsewhere, the Bombers who are traditionally Blue & Gold are just two shades of blue like the Double Blue in Toronto. Yeah, I don't get it either... -

That was already tried in 1995 with the US expansion teams. Memphis, Birmingham & even the Argos had logos on the front. Universally it was panned as being ugly & compared to hockey jerseys. It lasted one season. here is the Memphis Mad Dogs home jersey: http://gamewornfootballjersey.com/image/79971218_scaled_618x485.jpg -
Lateral/pitch is a running play. Same with toss. It's also a running play.

Riders unveil their "Signature Look" jersey

I believe they will each be different designs. The black jerseys BC had last year are apparently their version of this release. Who knows why they were released a year early. These aren't bad.... if we did something similar to this... featuring royal blue (even navy blue would be ok) with gold outlined numbers and a gold W on the shoulder.... I'd be happy with that, I'd even consider buying one... We already did that. See 2007 Grey Cup. -

I know it's a generation thing going here but those Joseph Abood suits look awful. To me, they lookcloser to being $100 suits as opposed to looking like $1,000 suits. Or maybe it's the models wearing them.. Probably a combination of both. I've a retro Dieter Brock jersey & I'm about as far away from being a hipster as anything. -
Well the only points sask scored was when its offense was off the field Apples & oranges. I don't care about the Riders. WE couldn't score because our offense was standing at the bench watching.
-
The offense can't score if it isn't on the field. Messam controlled the clock & took the football away from our offense & gave the Riders first downs. There were many reasons why the team lost. Not just one but a combination. Both TBurgess & 17to85 are right.

We don't need Renaud.

The Bombers did make some adjustments on the OL that helped. They were double teaming Chick as the tackles couldn't do it alone. Pretty subtle what the Riders did with John Chick. He is so quick to the football & getting off on the snap that he can line up a bit wider making it more difficult for the tackles to get to their block. He is so fast that he can still get around the tackles even though he's out a bit wider & get to the quarterback. Also, Morley was pulling from his center position to nullify Brackenridge's safety blitz from the outside where he like to go. Which when you think about it, asking a centre to get outside the tackles where Brackenridge is timing his blitz is a huge task. It certainly showed off Morley's quickness & athleticism as he did make a difference. He sure has found a home at center if you ask me. The Riders are a veteran team that's won 2 Grey Cups recently. We're a young up & coming team that really does lack experience at a lot of positions.. We at least have optimism that better things are yet to come. I look at the Riders & while they are extremely good, they are getting older. I think they have a couple of good years left while we may be seeing the start of many. Think of the anger, frustration & despair we all felt under Joe Mack & Tim Burke. As a fan, for me now it's like opening the blinds in the morning after I wake up, seeing the sun shining & say what a glorious day. And the day before was pretty good, too. There's no comparison to this years team & the garbage we put up with in 2012 & especially 2013 where there was absolutely nothing to look forward to. There was no hope.

With the numbers Ford had, he shouldn't be tweeting anything.

Botched hold on a FG cost them the win against Calgary. Bad gun snap on the 2 yard line cost them a TD last night. Costly penalties & turnovers. The Cats have a suicide tendency to do stupid things at critical times. Is that just bad luck or do some players have character issues that Austin has to weed out? This is happening too much for it just to be a coincidence or an isolated event. Some players choke under pressure.

Thank you, Jacquie.I'll give it a shot...

Isn't that Rod Black's dream? Or has he got a new man crush. He wasn't gushing about Giguere at all after those catches. Spurned.

Hey I got nothing against thin lapels and thinner jackets but that's only because of my body type, what really bugs me is the super skinny pants that are all the rage today. Some of us actually have thighs and an ass here and I can't cram them into the skinny legs on pants these days., Maybe that's what it is. The skinny legs & the length of the pants that show socks. It just looks cheap. I'm 218 lbs. I couldn't wear one of those suits. I'd rip the pants. I still blame Ryan Seacrest. At the same time, I have 2 twenty something sons who have no sense of fashion at all. My oldest got married & didn't want a suit. Just slacks, dress shoes, dress shirt & tie. I said, this is your wedding day, you need a suit jacket & he refused. My youngest doesn't have a suit but if he did, yikes!! -
Screw the East. They are terrible.

Reebok worked very hard with the 9 CFL teams to come up with... ugliness.
-
That helmet shot to the knee that BC OL took was nasty.
-
Messam run game killed us. Kept our offense off the field & allowed Durant to keep the ball on the ground instead of in the air where he looked horrible. It wasn't just turnovers that lost us the game. Messam was a game changer & we couldn't stop him. Turnovers, horrible OL play, no run game ourselves & not stopping the run lost us the game.

Which Bomber forum? The one on CFL.CA?BTW BomberFan, I sent you a PM. The official forum is the one run by the Bombers.http://forums.bluebombers.com That's the one I can't register on & sent a request to be contacted in July 2013 & never received a reply. You are listed as joining the official forum on Aug 17, 2013. Maybe the response went to a spam folder. Have you tried to log in? Yeah, tried. When I try to log on, it says someone else has the name iso_55. And won't recognize my password. Tried to change it but it won't let me. Contacted the mods/admins a number of times over the last year & no one responds.

We blame the running backs. I blame the OL. If no holes are open, even Walter Payton can't make yards. That is the problem. We can't block.
