The things that turn me off pro lacrosse are the fact the players wear shorts & show off their ugly, spindly legs & the goalies look massive with their upper body padding. The whole sport looks goofy.

I've seen CIS qbs throw just as far. It's not just arm strength that wins football games. It's smarts, athleticism, guile, courage... a whole number of different factors. That's a 65 yard throw. It's long for sure but like Mr Perfect said, most pro qbs can do this.

Tough choices to choose between…I'll have to get my dart board out, consult the latest Dart Game on TSN, then make the necessary 3/4 arm toss for the deciding vote. Bullseye…I'll watch Golf. I would rather watch competitive knitting. Not a lacrosse fan.

I like the Arena League. I'd watch it over the North American Lacrosse League. It is becoming a bit more glitzy to the detriment of its image with Kiss involved but the AFL needs money & it folded once before so it very well could again.

I saw a picture last week or the week before on the construction cam when it was working & the field installation wasn't even started. It was just starting to be prepped. If true, good news.

I don't think the field installation has even started yet. That takes upwards of a month if not more from what I understand. Of course, the construction cam never works so I think the Ti Cats want to keep their fans in the dark so they actually can't see how far behind they really are. And I've heard more than once that it's just a skeleton crew working on the stadium. The guy in his video confirms that. So much for the promise of maximun effort to get this baby done on time with two shifts a day working.

CFLPA is such a clown act of an organization. They campaign for like 60% of the league revenues. Fail. Threaten to strike, then turtle. Fail. Want a neurologist on the sidelines. Fail. Then negotiate fines & suspensions into the CBA that are barely a deterrent & do nothing to stop this kind of behaviour.. EPIC FAIL. Most fans want to see some kind of fair justice dispensed when players do the wrong things on the field. Expect to see more of these types of hits to come.

Try to think of it this way. Only one or two CFL teams have backup QB's that are competent enough to lead their teams to victory. If starting QB's end up on the injury list the games become far less entertaining, casual fan interest for that team wans when they tail-spin and ticket sales drop. If protecting QB's is not a priority for the league perhaps they should think of it more in terms of lost revenue. Any mention of how much Willis was fined? Half a game cheque, probably. THE MAXIMUM! Joke.

Goalie, have you ever tried to check the live construction update at THF on the Ti Cats website? The feed is never available. Me thinks this is so embarrassing for the Ti Cats they don't want people to see just how far behind the stadium really is.

He clipped his chin, I don't think it was intentional though like Kyries. In the NHL, you're still penalized if a stick clips a player even accidentally. Even if it was unintentional on Willis' s part (which I doubt) it still happened.

But you're not asking if he'll work. You're just assuming he won't. Big difference. The guy will work at some point. He's being paid not to by the Jets.

Why won't he work? He has experience at the NHL level as a HC. I'm sure a position may come up to be a HC again or he'll find work as an assistant.

It doesn't matter that Odell Willis turned his head. He still hit Collaros high. As Matt Dunigan explained so well, there is a zone where you can hit a defenseless player & even though Willis hit Zack in that area he decided to go high & as a result his helmet made contact with Collaros's jaw & face area. And, as Dunigan explained, these defensive players know exactly what they're doing & where they are going to strike. Especially in that situation. Willis saw Collaros coming & decided to line him up for a wicked shot. Odell could have gone lower but didn't. It was the right decision to fine him. The CFL needs its qbs to play & not being held out of games for concussion protocols or injuries.

They need to broadcast another game. There are no other games on Thursday the 31st. They could do the Friday or sat games I guess. Showing a game in a 5,000 seat stadium would be a major black eye. With only 4000 fans in attendance No, that's an Argo game.

You always take the inside guy as he has the shortest route to the ball carrier. I'd like to see the play again to see how many redblacks were coming. Still no excuse for a dirt bag attempt to injure like that.
