They have no experienced qb backing him up. In the pre season, Brohm showed little, if anything to indicate that he can carry this team if Willy goes down. Our OL is in flux with Greaves out. You tell me how a team that's won something like 7 games in the past 2 years before 2014 & with something like 5 starting qbs over that time, can win without Willy? Besides, it's just my bloody opinion which I'm entitled to have. So, if you don't like it then bother someone else. I have no interest in arguing this with you.

I've never seen a coach so dissastified with his quarterbacking. Even Hank getting his team to a GC wasn't good enough for him. What does he expect out of his players? Ragged on hank all last season. Ragging on Collaros the first game. The old saying, "Be careful what you wish for", seems to be coming true. He also has some of the lamest pre game speeches I've ever heard. Last week in Regina, the theme was, let's have fun out there. INSPIRING!

Willy's hand injury was something that happens. It could happen behind the Riders OL as easily as Winnipeg's. Our Ol has deservedly taken heat for piss poor blocking before but they can't be blamed for Willy's hand injury, I don't believe.

Austin could have Ricky Ray playing for him & find something he does to be pissed off about. That's all Austin does, all game long is be angry. make a mistake & he's all over his qbs. What a great learning environment that must be. Having your coach berate you on the sidelines or is screaming constantly about this missed call & that missed call. After the 2 miscues by Massoli I figured he'd be out of the game for LeFevour. I was surprised at how weak his arm is.

Renaud was doing directional punting which affects his average. Coaches don't want the booming 60 yard punts anymore as the returners being so fast can outrun the coverage. So, a guy with a 38.9 yd avg is probably favored more than a guy with a 44.5 yd avg. Burke Dales could boom his punts but he was not a great directional punter. Punters like Rob Maver & Josh Bartel are very good directional punters. They are pretty proficient at dropping their punts into a spot on the field or punting out of bounds. I think you have to look at the net avg yds on a punt & not total avg yds to get a good idea how Renaud is doing.

Hank would have won that game for the Ti Cats Friday night. All 3 Hammy qbs look like pop gun players. Of the 3, Massoli looked the best but in the crunch he folded like a cheap tent. I still think Austin was nuts to get rid of Hank. Yeah, he has his warts as a player & he definitly wore out his welcome in Calgary but he is still a helluva qb & the Cats are nothing without him.

If anyone is fired, based on early season returns, it'll be Benevides even with a contract extension. Wally still is the best coach in the Lions organization & he as well as everybody else knows it.

BC is making Montreal look good but in reality, they are as bad as last week. The only question at the moment is how long Benevides lasts at this rate. Wally just signed him to a 2 year extension so you'd think he's got decent job security. Wally was a much better when he was a head coach. Benevides will be gone as Wally is the Lions best coach.

That #24 for Ottawa in their secondary, looks like a good player but he took some stupid penalties. Is he the player that took down Willy low & was called for roughing the passer?
