Here's what I think. I have been following the Bombers since 1965 when I turned 10. I consider myself a hardcore fan. I am on the players side to a point. I think they deserve more money. However, this league has problems like what to do with the Argos. Soon to be homeless & dead last in revenues. I'm very ticked about what happened today. So much that I feel that if Scott Flory, the CFLPA, Mark Cohon, who is the puppet for David Braley & the rest of the BOGs' don't care about US... the fans... & if a season is lost then why the hell should I care about the CFL? It's summer.... Lots to do. I don't have to go to Stamps or Bomber games. I can quite easily find something else to occupy my time. Besides, in about a month & a half the NFL open their training camps so I'll get my fill of football anyway. I'm almost angry enough to walk away from the CFL over their actions. Imbeciles all of them. I'll still post here because I enjoy the banter & this website but getting me to spend $$$ on CFL games or merch??? Well, good luck, even after they come back. Depending on how long they are out & if we miss any games, I may go to a game or two, then maybe not. Bet a lot of fans feel like I do right now. Playing with fire & these asshats are going to get burned.

You 20 somethings, man. Just because a guy is in his 60's you think he can't coach or has energy? What did you expect? A guy using a walker or in a wheelchair? Your day will come soon enough. I've seen 35 & 40 year olds in such bad shape they walk like they're 85. It is sad. He's 71. I think that is great. If Dahlquist has the energy & spunk then more power to him. Don't just judge the man on his age. Judge him on the way he coaches & the job he does.

To me, this is all on Laird & Molstad. He is the CFLPA legal counsel & has been involved as a player & then as a lawyer since 1974. If I'm angry at anyone, it's Molstad. If I had a dart board with his picture, I'd be chucking darts at him. What kind of stupid advice is this tool giving the CFLPA?

Hey, there were left wing nutcases who objected to the name Winnipeg Jets & the new fighter jet logo we have because they felt it was somehow related to Stephen Harper's government & military action in Afghanistan. Remember that? They were offended & wanted the name changed. Should the Jets have caved? How ridiculous would that have been? That's what I mean when I said earlier about something, no matter what, always seeming to offend someone or some group.

Looks like Stu Laird made a huge mistake agreeing to get rid of revenue sharing... Look where we are now because of it. A strike. Where was that dipstick Ed Molstad in all of this? Advising Laird to go with getting rid of it & he's still on the negotiating committee? He should be fired.

Unless the CFL has actual plans for these guys in the future (which they don't), I just think bringing these players to camp is a colossal waste of time. By this time next year, all of their careers as qbs will be over.

The Browns were named after Paul Brown. Not after Muslims or Indians (India). This is a great example of how ridiculous it could get if one team changes its name with people thinking the names Browns is racist when it's clearly not. If Paul Brown's last name was Green, they'd be the Greens.

Braley may have passion but he sure doesn't want to spend a penny to build a new stadium himself. Unless it's ultimately BMO, the Argos may be totally effed. Love to hear Bluto's take on this...

Huff said that he thought that Brad Sinopoli had all the intangibles to be a starting CFL qb when the Stamps drafted him. The one area that they were disappointed in & made them decide to switch him to receiver was his accuracy. It just wasn't there for him to develop further.

No, redskins is definetly not a positive but how can you change a name that is so integral with the history of the NFL going back to nearly it's beginning?

Talking potential here, Atomic. I think most young rookie qbs from the US thrown into a CFL game with no experience would get eaten alive as well. So, you draft a CIS qb on potential & try to develop him from there. That's what I think should be done.

I've always thought the Bombers were named after a military plane so thanks for that Rich. Anyway, I think you get the gist of my point, though.
