Other than your observation of your stoner friends, what evidence do you have to suggest this is true? well, most of my friends are awful drivers, none drive when drunk, only a few when "high" and in my opinion, just based on nothing but driving with them when they are sober and driving with them when they are high, they are a lot more cautious when high. Tend to drive to the speed limit or even just under the limit, when sober, tend to drive over and like idiots. How are they NOT the league? If some fans don't like that hashtag then they are naive & overly sensitive. These guys sacrifice their bodies so it's not like any other job in comparison. I think the players want a salary cap of somewhere between $5 to $5.5 million. Otherwise why counter with $7 million? That's their hill to die on.

Howe could still play at 50 because of the talent level in the NHL in 1979. As I said, there weren't enough quality players for all the NHL teams back then after the merger. Some of those starting NHL goalies couldn't make an AHL squad if they were playing now.

I bet Braley was probably the guy behind just a one hundred thousand raise in the salary cap that got the players riled up in the first place.
