  1. O'Neill was an average player with the Stampeders. He struggled at times as a starting centre & guard when he was here. He'd have his good games & then have some bad ones. I believe Jon Gott beat him out at centre & he was a backup lineman here for a stretch during his final season & signed with Hamilton as a free agent. Word is the Stamps never made him an offer. Can he get better with a change of scenery? Clearly maybe he can.
  2. I do know what I'm talking about. I live in Calgary & watched O'Neill play before he went to your team. He was no great shakes here.
  3. Ti Cat fans are mad because Hage is a 10 year vet who they feel has been disrespected. If O'Neill goes to centre the Ti Cats OL will struggle. O'Neill was an average to slightly above average center in Calgary. Nothing special when he played here. The Stamps let O'Neill go to free agency. Never tried to keep him.
  4. Only if you're in some kind of bizzaro world. They have one starting quality NI in Shologan. Almost all of their OL are damaged goods or failed prospects, a couple are still prospects. Hage and Eppele would stroll into the Bomber O-Line. Hage is done with the knee injury. Eppele will have a long career in a 9 team league, but is he anything more than an average guard. Not yet. You could put Morley in Eppele's jersey and Eppelle in Morley's and you wouldn't know the difference aside from Morley's gut. Hage isn't done. If there was an injury concern then Ottawa would never have taken him. He'll be the starting center in Ottawa for the nest 3 or 4 years.
  5. They're deep enough to just absorb the hit & move on.
  6. Kels, what makes you think we protected Labbe? You must think Desjardins would be stupid enough to draft dead guys, too?
  7. What's your take on the Argos losses, bluto?
  8. His agent telling him to wait for Taman, his napkin & a contract offer smeared on it between coffee & food stains, perhaps?
  9. That's kind of irrelevant to me.... They both barely contributed.
  10. The only thing that would make the Kohlert loss look palatable is if he signed with another CFL team. Like the Riders. Then we'd know he was going there all along.
  11. Based on 2013, if we have to rely on those starting 4 at receiver, then it is dry. Hey, maybe Kohlert would have signed somewhere else. Just disappointing to see him go like this.
  12. Our Canadian receivers need major upgrade now. One more hole to fill.
  13. As obvious as ships trying to see rocks in a fog thanks to the secrecy of the CFL.
  14. Maybe that's why the CFL wouldn't publish the list. To protect Desjardins from the fans in Ottawa.
  15. Don't worry. Be happy.
  16. Thanks Mike. Bombers came thru that round looking good. Stamps are going to miss J'Micheal Deane as he played well last season in & out of the lineup with injuries. I know Alex Krausnick. His wife just had a baby. He told me last night that he wanted to stay in Edmonton but will take whatever happens.
  17. So, thanks to CFL.ca I missed the entire second round. Can somebody tell me who were selected? Thanks.
  18. My screen at CFL.ca says an error occurred & try later. Only the CFL could screw this up.... Unbelievable.
  19. I can't see it on CFL.ca. What's going on?
  20. Still waiting & it's 11:40 am CST. Like WTF?
  21. DeMarco solid as #2? Not from what I saw last season.
  22. That is so sad it's actually funny. Boltus, ugh!
  23. In Calgary here we are all thinking it's Kevin Glenn who will be drafted. Glenn is popular in the city & the majority of Stamps fans would like to see Drew Tate gone (me included). If Glenn does go, I can't see Tate being a happy camper & he may request a trade. However, with Glenn gone, the Stamps lose an insurance policy of having a veteran qb on the roster if Mitchell goes down. I think Tate could have a tremendous upside if 4 things happen. (1) He stays healthy (2) He loses that chip on his shoulder (3) He quits pointing fingers to teammates on the field when a play goes wrong (4) He begins to act like a leader.
  24. Stubler is close with Michael O'Shea. Mike was a big reason why he was such a great DC. I hope he comes here.
  25. I seem to remember he was hard to work with in Hamilton. Didn't get along with people & stubborn.
