  1. Goltz is not a great scrambler when the pocket breaks down. He can't elude tacklers but effective as a short yardage qb. Unfortunately, that's not enough to keep him around. He's been with the Bombers for 4 seasons & his shortcomings as a passer were evident. He has trouble reading defenses. There are better FA qbs around than him out there. As I said, I believe he'll be released.
  2. If they are experience then being first year Bombers doesn't matter. First year Bomber qbs with experience I remember, Don Jonas, Tom Clements, Tom Burgess & Matt Dunigan.
  3. Pretty sure Ottawa will take Kevin Glenn in the expansion draft.Glenn is a FA ... why would they?Glenn is NOT a free agent. Ron Burgundy says NO!!! I think Burris and Glenn are good interim qbs for them. Ottawa will have much qb depth no matter what way they go then the Blue has had in the last many years. How can we find out for sure about whose contracts are about to expire? Glenn has another year on his contract.
  4. He'll be released.
  5. Nichols is likely not even on Ottawa's radar. Willy is a free agent and Levi (as in Bo Levi?) and LeFevour will be protected. Well, I watched LeFevour this season & quite frankly he is like Justin Goltz. Can run but not a very good passer. Long term, I believe that he doesn't look like he is the heir apparent to Burris.
  6. Go to the Audio Vault on CJOB website.
  7. Joey Elliott still played better than Hall did. yeah that 52-0 loss to the Riders was a great example of that too... Give it up already... Elliott's gone. So why keep bringing him up? It's over.
  8. If that is true, idiots.
  9. Buh bye Pat DelMonaco. Start packing your bags. The interim boss ain't impressed.
  10. Miller can't even get a firing right & we're supposed to trust he knows what he's doing to make this team a winner? Just fire Burke & start fresh. My Gawd how much simpler can that be?
  11. Bombers wouldn't seek permission until the Riders season is over...
  12. You know the caretaker thing I've been saying? This is what I was talking about. Miller could be doing more harm than good.
  13. Everybody would like to see Khari here. But as an OC not a HC.
  14. It was a rumour on a CFL forum. And I heard it from a very reliable source too (second-hand but the original source was very plausable - I didnt believe it at first but after the game on Saturday I ended up spending time with "the source" as well so it made me believe the info I was being told) I was sort of thinking the lines were crossed on the Khari rumour and he was OC, not HC but Dunigan would be way out of left field so if his name is being bandied about I tend to think there might be something there. I believe Marcel is as good as gone. I wish Burke was gone.... No, we have to wait... Like they don't know by now??????
  15. I agree with you. Matt was put into a no win scenario by F Troop. But for some reason he felt he had to do all the work himself when he was with the Stamps. He never delegated authority. I just think after he was fired by the Stamps that he should have got involved as a CFL coach somewhere in his early 40's, worked his way up from QB Coach & maybe today he would be a successful GM & HC in the CFL. I believe Matt would be a great OC but certainly not as a GM or HC with the Bombers. I keep saying that Kyle Walters isn't ready to be a GM, I certainly would have to say Matt is the same. Not ready.
  16. Dunigan probably learned a lot in Calgary as HC & GM but that was a decade ago. Yeah, Matt got fired but he never went back to coaching. He could have become a qb coach with another team & later an offensive coordinator but he never bothered. I think it would be a mistake to hire him as a GM or HC. I'd take him as an OC for sure but that would be it. He's too inexperienced with just one year coaching & managing in the CFL.
  17. Reed never distinguished himself as a DC, STC & especially a HC. I think the man had friends in high places & got these jobs because of it. If anyone never deserved to be a HC based on his work as a coordinator, it's Reed. So,coming here as DC? No thanks.
  18. Meanwhile, time is ticking away. I fail to understand how Miller can fire Mack yet wait until a new GM is hired to decide upon whether Burke stays or go. If Walters stays, he'll fire Burke. If someone else is hired, he'll fire Burke, so either way Burke is gone. The fanbase want the man gone. They won't buy tickets with him as head coach next year so just do it already.
  19. Thanks for clearing that up, Jacquie.
  20. I guess this would be a good time to mention that if Mack always listened to Walters, we'd have Edem and Pasztor over Mulumba and Pencer but we'd also have Mitchell over Muamba. I don't think that Walters was even involved in the Muamba pick, was he? Wasn't he just ST coach at the time?
  21. I will say, only in his weak defense that the backup qb gets very few reps & as a result doesn't get the chemistry or familiarity with the other starting 11. Don't believe me? Yeah pretty lame excuse. I agree Boltus is awful.
  22. Lapo & Mack wanted him to come back for 2010 & Lefors said no. He's a highly successful high school head coach in Texas, I believe. Going to be climbing up the ranks to college & maybe the NFL or CFL.
  23. Proof is in the pudding by the team he built, I believe. I know the Edem story has made the rounds & from what I understand actually happened. Denying it would be like saying Rob Ford doesn't eat too much.
  24. A running back coming off a torn achilles is pretty serious stuff. I can understand why he was released. Good for him he's been able to resume playing even if it is with... the... the.... ugh... (dry heave) Riders.
  25. Obviously Mack had no confidence in Walters giving him input into the selections. What was the point of having a guy dedicated to the CIS & not listen to him? My gawd. Yeah, great job Joe for ********* this team over for the next 3 years, you useless piece of crap.
