He also keeps track of high school football across Canada. The guy knows the next crop of up & coming players in the CIS. When draft time comes let's hope he comes here to give us his take on the top draft picks in the CIS in 2014. Gonna be interesting to see how things shake out. Too bad the CFL is giving the RedBlacks the chance to grab the best young qb available & yet here we are. Feel like we're the team being punished. Our fans didn't completely abandon the Bombers twice just to get rewarded a third time.

yeah. But we should also get Lulay as insurance in case Hank gets hurt and Collaros doesn't pan out. that should buy us enough time for our clone of joe montana to grow to maturity.. We need some pizzazz to spice up the qb position. I say we clone Joe Namath.

How do we pay both these guys? We have a salary cap. Think Hank will come here to sit on the bench the last couple of years of his career or that Collaros will sign to play here behind Hank? We may get one but not both.

Collaros has played extremely well. He can pass & he can run. I think had he played yesterday the Argos might have won.

I know that Burris doesn't respect Tate. He said as much that he doesn't believe Tate is better than him. So, that's why Huff traded Hank to Hamilton. He knew Hank wouldn't stand for backing up Tate. As far as Tate goes, he's looney tunes. A complete nutcase. As far as a qb goes, he is a skilled player & if he stayed healthy he'd be a great pick up & we'd be much, much improved with him as the starting qb. But I think after a year or two of him yelling & spazzing on his teammates on the field his act would get old fast. With players, fans & coaches. It all depends what the team thinks they want. He's probably the best veteran qb out there that may be available. I think Glenn is gone to Ottawa the day of the expansion draft.

I actually called TSN today & spoke to a guy in PR about the public address announcer almost drowning out Cuthbert & Suitor yesterday. And just how annoying it was to have to listen to that guy screaming out of my television. Anyway, the guy at TSN said they are receiving a lot of complaints about that & the productuion crew will make adjustments next game in Guelph so it won't be so bad. I then asked him about what TSN is going to do about Rod Black? He asked me to explain myself. I said he needs to be replaced because he is terrible & CFL fans hate the guy. He had no answer.

Who is the "horse's mouth"? DeMarco? If he's in our Top 3 then bring back Goltz because DeMarco isn't that good at all. . Would you rate Goltz higher than DeMarco? I wouldn't. When you think about it, DeMarco makes sense as a third option. The team is reluctant to take a risk on Tate (injuries), and there is little interest in bringing back Kevin Glenn (debate amongst yourselves on that one). Bo Levi Mitchell is apparently not on the market in any way, shape, or form. Really, that leaves DeMarco and Drew Willy as realistic options, and obviously someone thinks DeMarco has a higher ceiling. I'm with you on Goltz.I just said that to make a point. I'll be very happy the day I read that Goltz is released. I think Hall is a better qb than DeMarco. Signing him wouldn't make us better but certainly would make the #2 position very competitive between Hall & DeMarco. But DeMarco as our long term starter? Just can't see it.

I certainly do hope that we open the bank for Collaros. As a fan, I'd be pretty upset if I hear our new GM say that Collaros was too expensive for us to go after him. I want us to be financially responsible but in this case the Bombers are going to have to spend $$ to make $$. We better not be outbid by Ottawa or any other team.

Pretty confident that there'll be a new qb starting next season not on our roster now but as a guy for depth at the position Max will do just fine.

Just saying that Ray's not being able to run really shows in games where he isn't throwing like Ray usually does. Don't get me wrong as Ray is a great player but every qb has his strengths & weaknesses.

If Ray isn't lighting it up throwing you can really see how his complete lack of running is a liability. The Argos offense was playing 11 on 12 the entire game as the Ti Cat defense didn't have to account for him. Today, the downside of Ray's game really showed. As in the lack of him taking the ball & run. Ray was okay throwing the football but not outstanding.

Especially when Jade Etienne can't even get on the field so you think he's happy here? Why wouldn't he consider going back to Saskatchewan? Think the Bombers won't try to sign Kohlert over Etienne as he'd be the priority, I believe? Jim Toth tweeted this about Etienne today: Jim Toth @JimTothCJOB: Coach Burke says he has simply fallen out of favour. Great start, got hurt & is now being outplayed so he is just there.

The Riders don't have any NI receivers outside of Getzlaf and yes that includes Rob Bagg. Before Labatte signed with the Riders I don't recall any talk about losing Saskatchewan-born players to the Riders. Now people talk (some in jest and some seriously) that any player who is even related to someone in Saskatchewan should not be taken or won't re-sign. It gets rather ridiculous at time. The subject has been raised here & elsewhere. I'm surprised that you never heard this before.

It will help but we need a competent QB too. We have at best a competent backup in Hall. I didn't think I needed to say that...goes without saying Competent players on the OL line too. Shannon Boatman, need I say more?
