Bombers sign 3 sponsorship deals
iso_55 replied to Bomber_fanaddict's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
What the feds use tax dollars to support pro sports??? The CFL is evil.... -
So, Burke said he had no intentions of putting Hall back in after he was pulled. He said he wanted to see if Boltus could pull himself out of a hole. Our Dbag head coach gave up. He was treating the game like it was exhibition. Didn't matter fans came to see the team (hopefully) win or paid top dollar for tickets. Disrespected the entire Bomber Nation. Get Burke out NOW!!! He is not a winner. He's a quitter. Boltus wasn't ready as everyone could see yet he kept him in there as things got worse. The decision to bench Hall for Boltus ranks right up there with Burke leaving his vets at home going to Hamilton in June & losing 52-0 to really set up success for the season. Bah! Spit!!

I just hope that Collaros isn't as stupid as Mike Reilly & signs with the Argos (or RedBlacks) mere days before FA. If we know what the other teams thru his agent are offering we can better it & sign the guy. You're right Mr. Dee there can be no more excuses.
-
If Willy is the best qb we can get right now then I don't want him. I'd rather wait to see if we can sign someone else. If Walters trades Muamba to the Riders for Willy, I'll be very unhappy. Trading Muamba will guarantee we finish 2-16. Burke will be taking a knee in the 2nd quarter.

So then, what about Edwards?

My weekend's been salvaged. Bwa haa, haaaa....

You do realize any new QB needs AT LEAST 2-3 weeks MINIMUM to learn the system to even step on the field right? QB's on teams have seen and can study playbooks prior to training camp, anybody new will not have that luxury, and you want to throw said person into the line up as a starter... Unreal. Again, this fan base... You do realize any new QB needs AT LEAST 2-3 weeks MINIMUM to learn the system to even step on the field right? To me it sure is. We, as fans can do what we want as long as we don't abuse the players or fans around us. Stewart & Edwards should have known better to say anything after a losing effort like that. Comment about their team or their play but don't criticize the paying fans in the seats.

You mean no more coaches that look like this during the game Gotcha!
-
Some back pedalling, I see.
-
Every team does it & it's stupid.

Hard to coach around horrible throwing mechanics at halftime. I'm sure Hall has been told to settle his feet his entire life, but he's still dancing and sailing passes. Maybe they could coach him to aim for a target 5 yards in front of the route he's trying to hit, then the ball would be on the money. Still not enough reason to sit him down the entire half.

If true, what a bunch of ****. How much more can we take from the ******* morons running this team???
-
Just another day in Bomberville. Miller's silence (hiding?) is deafening...
-
Now I've heard it all. It was Buck's fault he made the team.
-
Yeah, he sure had a lot to say when he got hired, didn't he? Now he's become invisible. At the very least he should come out of the shadows after that debacle last night.
-
Picking our next head coach is going to be so important. What kind of winning philosophy we project will go a long way to signing potential free agents.
-
You still need to protect them if you want to keep their rights until February. You think Ottawa is going to take people in an expansion draft just so they can get their rights for a couple months? Probably a few at least, I'd think. Worth the risk.
-
Amber rum & coke. Gonna buy shares in Captain Morgan.
-
It isn't Buck's fault the organization couldn't replace him or find better. He never held the gun to their heads to keep him. He didn't hold the organization back, it was management. Can't blame the guy to keep the pay cheque as long as they were willing to pay it. To me, the cheering last night just goes to show how much this fan base is dying to cheer for something. There is no hope for this team for this season. The fan base is taking what they can get. Who cares who's fault it is, he shouldn't of even been playing, he knew it, the organization knew(should of) it everybody with half a brain knew it. He just strung us along for every cent he could get. Buck strung us along??? What did he do cast a spell on coaches & management? THEY kept HIM!! How can you pin anything on Buck as he's just a player? Pin it on stupid coaching & management. Not Buck.
-
Coaches coach like they don't care. Players play like they don't care. So, they cheered for Buck & Edwards & Smith don't like it? Well, we don't like the way they play so they won't be here next year. The fans still care for the moment.

Kito Poblah smiled at the camera late in the 4th quarter, shouldn't we be upset about that?
-
They should of brought in someone with experience at qb
iso_55 replied to Brandon's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Go to Churchill High School, grab their qb & he can throw better than Boltus. I don't have a problem with them changing to Hall at the half even though it was strange timing. My problem was after the 2nd series they kept Boltus in. Refused to bring back Hall which made no sense at all. -
They were cheering for Buck for that, yes. But also telling the Bombers their qbs sucked last night. Players like Stewart after a loss like that should just keep their opinions to themselves. The fans can do whatever they want as long as it isn't abusive to the players.

Too much Tinfoil for my taste. The much simpler answer is that Burke at this point has no clue what he's doing. Yeah, Agreed. It was a clueless coaching performance. The team got destroyed & Burke threw in Boltus as well for good measurre.
