Honestly, it wasn't my conspiracy theory. LIke I said my friend is a Bomber fan & gave me his take. I thought it was interesting enough to raise it here to see what people thought.

Lots of people are at fault....

Stewart was upset fans cheered for Buck when he went in. I don't have the exact quote but he was rather uncomplimentary towards the fans at IGF who did cheer Buck.

Since when does anything Burke say mean anything at all? He might as well speak French in all of his media conferences for all the good it does. His word is nothing. A Bomber fan I know who doesn't post here or anywhere (but should) as he has some keen insights into the game gave me this blockbuster theory tonight when I talked with him. We were discussing Boltus & why he went in & then was left to die. He thinks a power struggle is going on right now between Bellefeuille & Burke. Marcel is not a Burke guy & he probably resents him being brought in by Miller. Bellefeuille wants to be Bomber HC. Burke knows he is probably on the way out but still is the HC for now. The decision to put in Boltus was Bellefeuille's. Boltus is a Bellefeuille guy. The decision to keep him in after he struggled was Burke's. He let Boltus get eaten alive to discredit Marcel to show his guy Boltus can't play. Burke's message to Marcel was he's still in charge & that he won't go down without a fight. My friend believes what happened last night was a power play between the 2. To me, watching the Boltus debacle... that is about the only thing that would make sense. Any comments?

They should of brought in someone with experience at qb

Pretty valid point. Why does it bother you??? We are lost at quarterback. -
Our Canadian talent was brutal before Mack got here and he didn't inherit a lot of draft picks. When you look at what he's done Macks drafting was fine, he did more to rebuild the NI talent on this team than had been done in years. Don't try your typical blowing things out of proportion to take another whack at Mack. Oh yeah, forgot. Not Mack's fault. All Burke's.

GDT -- Game Day: Does Anyone Still Care?

Bob feels sorry for him. He always takes it easy on the guy. He reminds me of attending a funeral & talking to a family member of the deceased. -
After 2 series it was clear Boltus was lost. Yet Burke kept him in the entire 2nd half. Burke threw up the white flag. Total disrespect to the season ticket base. Turned it into an exhibition game. How many thousands of fans are they turning off now?

Miller get off your dumb ass & fire Burke. I don't care who the head coach will be the final 5 games just get rid of him!!!

And 17, before you say I personally attacked you a couple of weeks ago... I did & publicly apologized for it on that same thread. So, let's stop making it personal from now on. -

Besides, we are light years away from Swaggerville anyway. -

I'd rather have a quietly arrogant fanbase that knows our team is good than chest beaters telling the world how great we are. How long did that last? It was a wonderful 8 weeks while it lasted. Like the Eskimos were years ago when they were winning everything. How the Winnipeg fanbase was years ago before we went into our 2 decade swoon. Rather be closer to the Eskimos back than to the Rider fanbase today because they are just like Swaggerville. -

Swaggerville was the best thing that ever happened to this team, it was the over reaction by certain people that was the bigger problem. I want a team that KNOWS it's better than everyone else, not the sad sack bunch of losers we're trotting out there now who only know that they're going to lose and the only question is whether they keep it close or whether they are getting spanked. The only thing we were was an illusion when we went 7-1 in 2011. The rest of the time before & after just a bunch of losers. A little carried away? I think so. -
Our starting 7 Canadians as a group suck. This is Mack's team. Our Canadian talent is brutal.

IF we ever get good again I just hope Swaggerville never comes back. Why are we suffering as a fanbase? Karma. -
The Jetsa are up against the cap this season. When the cap goes up next year we'll see if we continue to sit on our hands or go after some scoring next summer.

Short of winning out, there's not many people out there that will suggest he gets any consideration next season. Not after this. He better not. If they brought him back it would get ugly. -
Very true. That is a big problem when a Canadian plays in a position that is usually American. Calgary is a good example. With Jon Cornish their starting tailback they have a backup Canadian tailback in Matt Walter who is able to step in & play as his backup. If Cornish went down & they didn't have Matt, an American would go in Cornish's place & another American would have to come out somewhere else. If Walter wasn't around, the Stamps would have a problem. In Winnipeg, with Muamba starting at MLB, Labbe is the backup. While the drop in play is significant, he is valuable as it means the ratio isn't messed with if Muamba goes down. Calgary is not a good example at all because it proves the point I made, not the one you're trying to make. When Cornish missed a game with a thigh injury, it wasn't Walter that started for him. It was Jonathan Williams and they shuffled the rest of their lineup to accommodate it. Yeah true but i guess it does prove what I said. They had to take out an American to play Williams even though he & Walter split the playing time. Damn, I forgot about Williams.

You mean, "We're just 4 points behind Montreal" talk hasn't hit a fever pitch with the fans? I'll watch because I'm a Bomber fan... But I want to see if Max Hall improves. If Hall struggles, I want to see what Boltus can do. Want to see our defense get after DeMarco. The season is a write off but there are still stories within the game I'm interested in. -

Cheveldayoff has done a good job so far. But what of Claude Noel? He must be wondering where his extension is.
