I've always liked Greg Peach so if they can snag him I say that is more than fine.

I think fans being concerned that we're getting older at the kicking position is unwarranted. Kickers can play a long time. Like I said before, there are way more important things to worry about regarding this team. Craig Dickenson is a very good ST coach & he obviously sees something he likes in D'Angelis over Palardy.

Rick Campbell has redeemed himself in Calgary. He wasn't a well thought of defensive coordinator with the Eskimos. Impressions in Edmonton where he was Danny Macciocia's DC in the mid 2000's & especially after that last play Stegall long bomb touchdown we all remember was that he was Hugh Campbell's kid. That he was entitled in the fact that his last name got him the job & not his ability. He was fired in Edmonton, came to Calgary, took a demotion & was the Stamps running back coach. Then later, a ST coach & now finally he's back as a DC & really doing a very good job for the Stampeders. Campbell dealt with adversity, took his lumps, swallowed his pride, worked hard & is now a better coach for it than he was before. Gotta give the man credit...

Knocking off the Riders would be sooooo laughable to shut guys like Pederson up. He's the biggest tool in the Canadian media now. Just an arrogant POS.
-
He isn't a consultant. He's their LB coach. Didn't know that. Hey, if he's available I'd like him for our DC next year.
-
You know, I was gonna play that but I just couldn't bring myself to click on it...

The CFLPA has a max players can be fined, what $500??? Even that's nothing by CFL standards. A benching would have made more sense & send a stronger message.

Not really, aside from Kelly they're all garbage. One of the worst comments I have ever seen on here. The whinning, bitching and unrealistic expectations are making this entire board unbearable. Says the guy with 14 posts.
-
He's clearly connected to Mike Kelly, so I'm thinking they have similar personalities. Both idiots...assholes....that's my guess. You're trying too hard. He was in Edmonton a couple of years ago as well & in Montreal now as a consultant for Noel Thorpe the DC in Montreal.

Yeah, who knows if this is a good addition or not? I'm really opening up to the idea of private ownership. Like the article today about Jim Barker, the decision by Joe Pop & Paul Robson to push through Joe Mack as GM has no implications for both of them as they're now gone. This & prior boards all have teflon on them as nothing sticks to these people. At least with private ownership, the onus is on them to spend their own money wisely or foolishly.

Honey Boo Boo, OMFG, Brandon!!

I just hope I'm wrong with my assessment of the way new people will be brought in. C'mon Winnipeg Football Club surprise me!!

Stupid management & coaching brought this team to this point. The fans kept up their end of the bargain but the morons running this team didn't. This team is bleeding because of their utter stupidity. Too much of rewarding buddies & friends with jobs they didn't deserve. Not enough of hiring the most qualified people to build a winning team. Think it's gonna change? I am hopeful that things do but I just don't think things will. I predict that certain people in the organization will get "their guys" in place like it's always been done even though better candidates much more qualified will be on the outside looking in... And nothing will change.

Mark Nelson seems to be a very, very good defensive coordinator but he never lasts long anywhere he goes. In some places, he got less than a season to do his thing & was fired. Seems to me he's as good as anyone in the CFL now. I wonder why he can't stay in one place very long?

Boggles the mind, doesn't it???

When Hef arrived in Calgary he replaced Keon Raymond who was injured but according to media sources here in Calgary he wasn't very happy Hefney had come in. I don't know if there was any friction between the 2 players or if Huff said anything to either player about the situation. Like I said, Raymond wasn't happy & hefney has played once since Raymond came back. To me, this was a depth signing & not necessarily one to shake up or improve the Stampeder secondary. .

There'd be no deficits if we had a winning record like say, the Stamps since 1990.
-
is that really a saying? I was gonna say couch or sofa but wanted to sound Canadian.... So picked chesterfield.
-
Burke sure talked tough when he became HC. What a lie that was. All talk, no action. Burke's as soft as a well used 15 year old chesterfield. Talk, talk, talk, talk, talk. Shut up, Burke & actually do something when players are screwing up. Sit Hall down.

Wow, kicking is the least of our trouble. We need to worry about other positions.
-
Still want an "unlike" button You must mean dislike. I 'liked' your last post and there already is an option to unlike. Sorry. Yeah, a dislike button. Buck should either be riding the pine or sitting on a beach. Beach??
-
He's gone & he knows it. He has a 2 year contract cushion of guarnteed payments to land on which is why he isn't worried.
-
They're like dead last in every defensive category and you don't think that's their biggest problem? Their D is worse than ours. I just don't see Marshall going anywhere.
-
The Bomber Board should be disbanded & another in its place but that won't happen.

Haven't we been pining for free agents and guys who have been in the CFL? Too true. Sorry, but Boltus is not my idea of a great free agent signing, c'mon. Now, Graham Harrell if he's available... THAT'S a free agent worth pursuing. Or one of the CFL young buck back up qbs. THOSE are free agents. What has Graham Harrell ever done? He just lost his job to Vince Young, who is basically the off the couch Michael Bishop of the NFL. Harrell is at about the same level as Boltus as a pro. Boltus never made the NFL so debatable.
