Both games are great. I like both. Why do we have to have these discussions all the time? As a fan, i embrace both games. I don't need fans of each game lecturing to justify in their minds which is better.

What if Collins has a season like Eric Rodgers did? That's hardly a fair trade off for a 3rd string qb.

We were having a great discussion here until it went sideways. It really is too bad. I think some of you guys are being either a little sensitive or too hard on TBurgess's comments. That Banks TD could have been a backbreaker yet it wasn't so credit the team for staying strong early. I was happy with the way we spread the field throwing the football with quick hitters to give both Willy & our OL confidence that they wouldn't both get pulverized by the Ti Cats front 7 which was my concern going into the last game. I give Lapo a lot of credit for great game planning so until a team stops it that'll probably be the way we play offensively going forward. Masoli isn't very good & I think things would have been different with Collaros playing BUT having said that... teams feasted off of us last year when we lost Willy to injury so I have no sympathy for any teams we now play who have lost their starting qb because no one felt sorry for us. Our D came up big last game when they had to so also credit to them as well. Playing Edmonton & Calgary are going to be 2 huge tests for us. I still have to be convinced we can play well going up against Reilly & BLM but I'm cautiously optimistic. Both teams are struggling so we'll see.

Still, I'd have voted to leave. My niece who is in her early 40's lives & works in London. Both her children were born in London & go to elementary school. I spoke with her on facebook & she is very upset with the vote.

Well again, my apologies for that. When I realized what I did I actually didn't delete. I edited. I changed the name of the thread to "Deleted". Then to replace the initial message I said something like "Sorry guys, my mistake." Anyway, the changes were made & I checked the thread & it had been changed. Now, it is back. So I don't get it. Anyway, whatever so carry on. just as an aside, Newstalk AM 770 is the Stamps radio broadcaster. Mark Stephen has been the pbp voice of the Stamps for almost 20 years, did his sportscasts in the afternoon, had a sports talk show in the evenings & was Sports Director at AM 770. He was fired this week & has been removed from his on air duties. He still is the voice of the Stamps for now. I wouldn't be surprised if he is replaced when the season is over. He often said that being the pbp voice of the Stamps was his dream job growing up in Calgary. He does a great job so if it ends in his late 40's or early 50's for him that is sad.

I think the Ti Cats only got to Willy 3 or 4 times all game which is a lot better than his previous games & his first 2 years here.

The objective is to keep Willy standing & healthy so I expect the offense we saw in Hamilton will be the offense we see from now on. Willy has to be better though when he does throw deep.

For a lot of fans. But he can't go on forever. He took over the pbp in 1973 from Ken Nicholson who concentrated on doing just Jets games. If anyone deserves to relax, kick back & enjoy life in retirement it's Knuckles.

I remember the CFN Network. That was after CTV told the league to go shove it after (if you can believe it) the network wanted to televise more games Friday nights & the league said no. They actually wanted to make Friday nights the night to watch the CFL but the league balked. CBC & TSN (in their infancy) didn't want to televise all the games so the CFL quickly organized their own league. I think it lasted just a year. Johnny Esaw the head of sports at CTV vowed that they would never, ever televise another game on their network. If you know who Esaw was, he loved the CFL. But business is business, I guess. The CFL really pissed him off The league was its own worst enemy the last 40 years making some real short sighted decisions over that time.
