Probably a bit of both. Calgary plays in a 53 year old stadium. The injuries the last 2 seasons with that team dwarf anything going on in Ham.... err... Guelph. BTW, watching a game from there is just an embarassment for the CFL. No wonder Chris Williams told the Ti cats to get lost.

I never heard of a defensive coordinator who knows nothing about offenses at the pro level. That was a shocking statement he made. Damned right we should be concerned.

Our future qb coach is on our roster right now. If I was Burke, I'd tell Buck his days are done & make him our qb coach. Let him stay with the organnization. If he says no then cut him.

There's more to it than that. Your explanation is way too simplistic. Developing qbs mean having a coach to coach them. We have no qb coach & haven't for years. We don't do enough as an organization to develop qbs. To me, the Bombers aren't 100% totally committed to doing that & haven't been for years. This team develops running backs but not qbs.

Burke did say on his show last night that Goltz will play. At least I thought I heard that. Goltz will play. I am sure of that.

Yeah, he said it on the Tim Burke Show on CJOB last night. I think it is good he is admitting that there's issues he can't solve. Could you imagine Cal Murphy ever admitting he needed outside help?

What do you guys think of Burke's comments he wants to bring in an outside consultant to review the way they are coaching the team? When I heard that yesterday, I have to admit I was shocked as that means Burke & his staff have no idea how to solve what's going on. So, is that a sign of weakness or a sign of strength to admit you have no answers? I've always thought football coaches can sit down, analyze the problem(s) & take action to solve it. This is the one sport I thought that coaches excell at doing.... Because they watch video all day long. For me, I've almost zero confidence Burke can build a winner.

My main concern is the December expansion draft & the direction this team will go in the off season if we don't start winning now & winning often. Why the draft is being held in December & not late January or early February just before FA starts is beyond me. Teams if they make changes, make them after the Grey Cup. January is when they hire replacement coaches & GMs. Makes no sense.

Mike, maybe you're right. Obviously some frustrations on my part are coming into play here with the way the team is playing. The next 2 monts are going to be important as to the future of the team so we'll see what happens.

This place is more relaxed. We have our discussions & arguments but I don't think anything has turned into a battle here with personal grudges. Definetly more leeway here & the mods are experienced which makes a huge difference. I know yesterday I was getting into it with some posters about Joe Mack. But, I'm not angry at anyone about it as we're all entitled to our opinions. The key to a great website is being able to argue with someone on one thread & then completely agree with that same person on the next. Or at the very least, being civil with that same person discussing another subject. That's what this place is like now which is great
