We couldn't pressure Ray with a four man rush, so why blitz then, right? Might as well get beat with a passive defense. Why be aggressive when we could lose the game by more than 2 touchdowns being aggressive? Oh wait!!! Crowton wasn't the only coordinator who sucked on Friday night. I think you identify who the next up & comers are going to be & if they arent FA's then make a trade to acquire one. Hopefully Goltz or Hall develop. The key is building a complete winning organization... I think Higgins could do it given complete control with no meddling. Also, Higgins knows the league, gets along well with everyone & has a ton of coaching connections with CFL experience.

The Bomber Way: Hire GMs with no CFL managing experience. Hire Head Coaches with no CFL head coaching experience. Is it really a surprise when these guys continue to fail??? The culture of this club needs to change. From top to bottom. I've watched a lot of CFL games over the years & I have to tell you... that so called offense we have... & it truly is offensive... ranks up with the worst I ever saw under Joe Zaleski going back to the late 60's. It was rank.... Just brutal. The play calling was..... ugh, enough of this self torture... Pissed off.

One guy I am convinced who could turn this team & organization around (if he's given the $$ & free reign to do it) would be Tom Higgins. He is a solid football guy. I saw what he did in Calgary & it was impressive. He turned the Stamps around from the farce they were under owner Michael Feterik. If Joe Mack gets fired (& I think that will eventually happen) then IMO he'd be the best person out there with all the qualifications to rebuild the team & make it a winner.He is an experienced CFL head coach & GM with a solid track record. Which is something we need right now. Not someone with absolutely no experience who talks a great game but in reality is lost & clueless as to building a winner. Higgins first order of business would be to solve the mess we have at quarterback & go from there.

I'm sure it's coaching. Short passing wasn't just a random thing. It was nearly every passing play. We were down, what, 32-9 & we never challenged the Argos vertically. Why is that? They were safe & easy passes to complete but we never moved the ball or kept any sutained drives alive. The stats flattered Goltz but let's face it, like Pierce when Justin was in there it wasn't pretty. Still 2 & outs nearly every series. Then we had Chad Simpson running wide with zero success because he hasn't the speed when his bread & butter is running between the tackles. The play calls didn't help the players on the field. Matter of fact, it was atrocious. No imagination, nuthin'!!

They didn't do it with Goltz either & being down by huge points. I blame Crowton for the clown act on offense more than Buck.. if anyone needs to go, it's him.

Went ro my first game at IGF last night. Like Noeller, I came from Calgary. Stamps fans would kill for a facility the Bombers have. My impressions of the Bombers???? Team speed is much too slow. We got no push from the DL. Ray had all night to throw even though they finally got to him & Ray's knee got injured. Why didn't Creehan blitz??/ We were getting beaten by better overall speed by the Argos offense & Ray was eating us alive rushing 4. Creehan played a passive defense the entire game & we couldn't stop the Argos so for crissakes blitz the guy. I'd rather lose with an aggressive defense then no rush & the DBs waving goodbye to Owens, Kackert & Durie. Crowton's playcalling is ****. We throw underneath all night. We throw into the flats but we never challenged the Argos D vertically very much. Virtually nothing in the second half. We need 5 yards we throw for 3. We need 10 we throw for 7. We need 6 we throw for 4. The players need help to win. Coaching was brutal last night. Way too conservative on both sides of the football.

Pierce would be a backup qb on most CFL teams & not a starter.

Elliott's third string in BC & had to pay his way up to Seatttle in May for a tryout or the Lions wouldn't even have given him that chance. What does that tell you about him?? It says teams don't think he's going to ever be a starter.

I've sat thru worse conditions over the years at Winnipeg Stadium. Sat thru -25C temps & blizzards. Rain, sleet, etc. That was the worst crowd I think I've ever seen. Football fans are supposed to be tough & not wimps.

In al lmy years watching the CFL, I've never seen a crowd(?) like that ever in Edmonton. That was like watching the old Alouettes just before they folded in 1982 & had crowds like that at the Big Owe. If that isn't the fanbase sending a message to the Eskimo front office I don't know what is. Thing is, these spoiled Eskimo fans should spend time in Winnipeg to know what real suffering is. Hervey gave Kavis Reed a new contract extension!! Wow. Clueless. He's as useless as a HC as he was when he was a defensive coordinator.

Reilly's played in 2 consecutive rain games.... He was still 13 of 21. Thing is, he'll get better but Buck won't. Mack & Burke put the Bombers into the position we're in now.

Man, what is with you??? Every qb has a lucky break every once in awhile. So, he got lucky. He managed the game well. He spread the ball around to all of his receivers. Threw for 282 yards. Had a couple of nicely timed runs to extend drives. Bottom line his team won. He did more than Pierce did tonight. Why do you hate Glenn so much???? He hasn't played here since 2007. He's not coming here so give it a frigging rest.
