  1. Why are some fans so fixated on trading down & trading players. We went from #6 to #2 & now we should trade down to #4? After Patrick Laine was voted the IIHF World Championship Most Valuable Player. Give your heads a shake all the people packaging fantasy trades out there.
  2. Nice to see Scheifle on a gold medal winning team... Flames GM Brad Treliving the GM for Canada. How many Flames??? Zero. You know he wanted Mark Giordano for the team. Pretty bad. #jaromeiginladisease
  3. I just hope we pick Laine at 2. Forget packaging picks & players & moving down... Laine is the real deal,
  4. Good for them. Muamba wants a 1 year deal to still chase The Dream. No tour?
  5. Harris is a great back so it's an excellent choice.
  6. Like always...
  7. I wouldn't call it high profile. More like low brow.
  8. Wearing a Redskins ball cap. The easily offended lefties trying to get the team name changed should see that. Ninety per cent of American Indians don't care about the name Redskins nor are they offended according to a poll released earlier this week.
  9. Mind Games by John lennon... Surfing music on the Net.
  10. Until this team becomes a playoff contender & a serious threat to win a Grey Cup, I'll stick to legend's names. maybe I'll get a new #2 Clements or a #27 Raimey Royal Blues as both wore them with pride. Or maybe a #54 Minnick jersey. Great linebacker. If he had played on a better team & didn't have knee issues he'd have been up there with the great middle linebackers who played in the CFL during the late 60's & early 70's like Wayne Harris. You know, the more I think about it, the more I like #54... (He missed 2 full seasons with his knees) but when he came back for 1 final season in 1972, he switched to #52. But he was #54 in the 65 GC & all the way thru the 69 season. So I'll stick with that number. Yep, just made up my mind.
  11. My biggest beefs with reboots of old series are the changes made to theme of the shows, characters or the actors that are miscast in the roles. The JJ Abrams alternate universe in Star Trek & in the case of Battlestar Galactica, Starbuck wasn't a guy anymore but a woman. Although the actress cast as Starbuck played her like a guy anyway so why bother? Edward James Olmos reprised his role as Lt Martin Castillo from Miami: Vice except he was playing Adama as well on B:G but Adama night as well been back at police hq in Miami as he played both roles exactly the same. Then there were the horrible remakes of Miami Vice & Starsky & Hutch.
  12. He isn't in any storylines, thank gawd... I'm saying he would be cuz he's so cute. Da widdle kiddies wud wuv him.
  13. As far as I'm concerned, no thanks to that idea.
  14. If Disney got involved we'd have storylines with Hornswoggle to get the kiddies to watch. No thanks. I'm on edge now as a fan with my emotional involvement with WWE. Something like that would be a deal breaker for me.
  15. There are a lot more end zone seats in the new Riders Mosaic Stadium than IGF. One whole end zone has virtually no seats. Some kind of entertainment area instead in that end zone.
  16. What was wrong with George Eads on CSI? He was difficult to work with, fought with co-workers & was suspended a couple of seasons back. Then he refused to appear in the series finale. What were his issues?
  17. That makes it even more of an epic fail.
  18. So, Dressler had to average 1500 yards & 15 touchdowns a year to be number 1? A consistent thousand yard receiver isn't number 1???
  19. I predict George Eads run on MacGyver will be a whole lot shorter than it was on CSI.
  20. I just can't get excited about a hero (MacGyver) who looks like his grade 12 grad was a year ago.https://www.facebook.com/topic/MacGyver/106151066082517?source=whfrt&position=1&trqid=6286516165712261750
  21. Even to be playing this long for Bagg is a bonus.
  22. Jarrett & Keith have no idea how lucky they were.
  23. He played about 2 yards off the LOS right behind the DL mostly on the left side & seemed to be there to turn the play the other way like a plugger plays in bantam. Often times, he couldn't make a play because he was caught up in the wash at the LOS as he never had enough depth...
  24. Bagg has had so many knee problems that he can be suddenly gone at any time coming down the wrong way on his knee or from a blow delivered on a tackle. I give the guy credit for coming back but with all knee injuries he's had he's playing on borrowed time. If he goes out, that'll be a huge loss for the Riders.
