I hope we pass. I want a CFL draft pick next year.

Trump Troglodytes don't seem to care that he hides his taxes & conveniently is using a so called IRS tax audit of him as an excuse for not releasing his tax returns. Guarantee that he'll be using this audit excuse right thru the election in November.

Royal Blue uniforms are officially back!!

I think most fans aren't in love with them either as you say but just relieved we got the Royal Blues back so they are willing to overlook the yolk. -
Liger wasn't a Luchidor but a Japanese wrestler. Rey came into WCW right around that time Eric Bischoff took over. Certainly the AWA back in the 60's, 70's & 80's didn't have a lot of Luchidors working for them either so I don't consider Rey a ripoff of anyone but I do think the WWE is trying to make Kalisto into another Rey.

Cesaro should be pushed towards the IC title. That's where I see him for now. He'd be a great IC champion. I wonder why Del Rio went to the stomp & seems to barely use his arm bar submission? It'll never happen as this originally was a WCW Eric Bischoff idea but the WWE should set up a Luchidor Division. Let L'il Kalisto run rampant. If I was Sin Cara I'd want to squash my little ant partner as Kalisto's clearly getting the push & he isn't.

Just wondering why the pants are so light in colour. Why not a deeper gold to match the helmets & stripes on the jersey. -
Except for that stomp. That looked bad. That move needs to stop as it is so phoney.

Like TUP said, lousy booking.
-
Thank you. It was lousy booking for Del Rio. Same with Cesaro, both guys should be pushed harder. Instead you get a little guy Kalisto beating guys twice his size. While the other two are held back.
-
I agree that Del Rio is the guy that should be pushed. Not Kalisto. How can you say he isn't a Rey Mysterio rip off? He does just what Rey does, flies around the ring in a mask with gymnastic moves beating guys 150 to 200 lbs heavier than him. It's the same old story. Seen it before. Speaking of Reigns, well not really.... is AJ Styles ever over with the fans. Even after that abortion of a storyline with Chris Jerico.

Not a fan of Calisto. Just a knock off of Rey Mysterio. Ryback was right. Why should Calisto be pushed & other guys aren't especially when they agree to job for guys like Calisto & lose out on money.

So does Bobby Clarke & Ron Chipperfield.

I never understood the phrase "Those that can't, teach"... Then there was a reference to Phys Ed teachers. I worked with a Phys Ed teacher at my HS in Calgary who was a volleyball Olympian in 1976 for Canada. Another phys ed teacher had a scholarship to an NCAA college. These guys were great phys ed teachers & great colleagues to work with.

The Argos have Lirim & I'm definitely good with that!

Well, that sucks.

Not unhappy to see Bautista get punched in the chops.

Noeller, I remember Ron Lancaster talking about the fact that throwing the football seemed so natural to him & when he epically failed in his first coaching gig in Saskatchewan after he had just retired as a player that he had to learn patience & come to understand what came easy to him didn't necessarily come easy to others.

I don't blame them. Trump is a freaking moron.

Alcohol & the brain. That doesn't go well either.

Something non related to this topic just flashed into my mind... Back in the mid to late 60's Winnipeg was home to the Canadian National Hockey "A" team. The B team was either situated in Ottawa or Calgary, I can't remember. It meant that the Arena would routinely see games with Canada against Czechkosovakia, Sweden, United States, Germany, Switzerland & of course the Russians. The A group were the top teams in the world while the B team were teams not quite ready for prime time. Why did Canada have a B team? For developmental purposes. Younger guys who were in university or didn't have a chance at an NHL career. Anyway, it was quite the deal when the Russians came to town as I recall. We were supposed to hold the 1969 World Championships at the Arena but Canada pulled out when we couldn't use professional hockey players. Stupid decision & sad day.

Sometimes I think having that old Junior Jets rivalry with the Wheat Kings was cool. Plus with every other Western Canadian team we have a lot in common. Back in the day pre WHA Jets, the old Arena would get 7-9,000 people for every game, sometimes even sell out a 10,000 seat building. The biggest draw back then (late 60's) was the Flin Flon Bombers with Bobby Clarke & Reggie Leach.
