McLeod Bethel-Thompson is listed as one of the participants of that spring league that just started up. So he might be busy during Bombers mini-camp. Walters said last night that they won't know who they are going to draft until the day of the draft. They will work their NFL contacts to find out about the guys in the tryout camps up until the last minute. It's also obvious Walters likes Gray but he doesn't put any value on the fact that he's a local kid. If there are two picks that are equal in every way he would pick the local guy but otherwise he'd select the best player for the football club.

I read that the Bombers will have the 3 QBs at mini-camp and 4 for rookie camp.

With the new transitway the Bombers should see some of their expenses decrease. Currently they change one of the lanes on University to be inbound before games which requires manpower to set up pylons and signage.
