  1. I am sure minimum means minimum as in teams can allocate more than 110k to players in promo money this year if they wish. That section of the CBA is poorly written, as a legal document there shud be greater clarity. So far we know the Bombers have given 105k to three players. (Brady 50k, Schoen 35k, Demski 20k). My guess is they prolly allocated promo money to guys like Jefferson and Bighill as well.
  2. I compared the training camp roster handout vs the roster on the Bombers' website and 4 players are missing on the handout. There is no mention anywhere they are no longer on the team: WR 72 Braxton Burmeister DT 92 Kenneth Randall DB 13 James Campbell DB 46 Montrae Braswell (there is a 13 on defence but its Bill Hackett) Also did anyone know that Winnipeg Rifles runningback Kaiden Banfield is participating in camp? He's number 30.
  3. Bombers signed dlineman Jabari Ellis today. He tried out for the Giants in 2022 then played 2 games with Montreal. The Als cut him last summer.
  4. A couple of Riders olinemen wont be in camp.
  5. Cant forget about Baby Billy;
  6. Here's Pinball's 15 minute post practice press conference:
  7. I thought about that. Maybe the Bombers just wanted to move on from Grant. With there being no limits to this promo money they could have easely found extra money for him. Did the Bombers actually lose any players that they wanted to re-sign? They knew they had to start turning over some of the roster. Need to develop the next group of starters.
  8. If that is the case how were the Argos expected to justify giving Chad Kelly 100k in promo money? Thats alot to give to one player. How many appearances was he expected to make?
  9. There is no cap to the promo money teams can give to players. Because of this, other than an accounting error there is reason for a team to go over the SMS cap.
  10. Maybe a distant relative. Chidi Okeke was born in Nigeria and came to the US in 2013. Uzooma is from Texas.
  11. Tomorrow is also the first day of ROOKIE camp. I dont expect much one on one time. I think alot of the time will be showing the players the nuances of the CFL game and to go through at slower speed what practice will look like for the following days. I can see Milt showing the new guys how to waggle though.
  12. 3downnation has started up with their highest paid player lists. First up quarterbacks:
