Hey @Noeller are you playing the new Beyonce on your radio station? How do you feel about non-tradition country artists like Jelly Roll being labled as country? Personally I dont have an issue with Jelly Roll as I think he's a good singer and I like his songs. One of my favorite songs back in the day was All Summer Long but it still seems strange hearing Kid Rock on country radio.

The way I read into it is the Bombers shud be able to retain any player they want to bring back - unless its a player like Hardrick who got a large pay increase.

I dont doubt it but it hasnt been mentioned in player compensation before now.

So this 12k promo money is from a seperate fund that teams pay players for appearances etc. Teams need to spend atleast 110k but there is No maximum for this fund. Yet another CFL policy that fans are left in the dark on. What would prevent the Bombers from paying Brandy 100k for player appearances and allocate part of his salary to someone else?

I had dinner with Milt a few years (a friend won a charity auction) and he said he roomed with Blink for their first trip to Montreal together. He said he didnt see Charlie from the time they checked in until they were at the stadium the next day. Blink went on to lead the team in rushing and receiving that night so Milt said he decided not to confront the issue and just let Blink be Blink. The question is would the Bombers had won more cups in the early 2000s if they had team leaders that inforced the FIFO attitude? Was Blink the problem or lack of leaders the problem?

Bombers signed linebacker Jeremiah Gemmel today. He spent time with the 49ers and Denver. Interesting tidbit is he replaced Barrington Wade on the Broncos' 80 man roster.

DT was incorrect on the Huddle. The extra roster spot (45th player) can be eithera Global OR National.

The Bombers had a jersey release event for their 50s jerseys and Kenny was on hand. I told him I was disappointed as I wanted him to sign a jersey for me but they didnt have my size made up that day. He said no problem, when I got the jersey I could look him up in the phone book and go to his house to get it signed. How many guys would make that offer?

Not everyone liked the trade at first. Hall won a Grey Cup and Neufeld was injured a fair bit at the start of his time with the Bombers. I remember Paul Wiecek saying the Riders the won the trade then he blocks me on twitter when I questioned his accessment. (I might have also questioned his sanity).

Bombers signed Dlineman John Waggoner out of Iowa.

Ranthony signed with the Bombers a couple of times. He was signed in 2020 but when the season was cancelled he opted out of his contract. He re-signed in 2021 but was cut in camp. Raleigh was on the Bomber practice roster before.
