  1. He's wondering if he still gets paid. (He is holding though for the kicks)
  2. In retrospect the Bombers could of looked into adding a National fullback with Burtenshaw and Miller missing most of camp. It was nice that they gave reps to Jackson during camp but they must of thought Miller would be good to go for the start of the season.
  3. I think O'Shea has been lurking here: Winnipeg Blue Bombers head coach Mike O’Shea isn’t happy about the muddled mess created by the CFL’s new ‘nationalized American’ rule as the regular season gets underway. "I think there’s still confusion about exactly the intent of these sorts of things,” O’Shea said on Thursday, a day ahead of the Bombers’ season opener on Friday night against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats (7:30 p.m., IG Field). “We will continue to do what’s right for our team. But I do think it’s important that everybody involved in the CFL works together to make sure they’re doing the best for our league.” "Right now there’s a lot of chatter, a lot of negativity about this, and It’s everybody’s responsibility to avoid that and make sure that we showcase the absolute best of our league, especially with more coverage in other places,” O’Shea said. “To have that overshadowed by some confusion … let’s just hope it doesn’t go on too long.” https://winnipegsun.com/sports/football/cfl/winnipeg-bluebombers/bombers-oshea-not-a-fan-of-confusion-created-by-cfls-new-nationalized-american-rule
  4. If they need flexibility due to injury on defence there is also the rule where a Nationalized American can replace an injured Canadian. Jeffcoat can replace an injured Bennett for example.

  6. McCrae has been hurt since the first week of camp. Can't see how they keep him around.
  7. I'm OK with sending out the punters to see what they have - or don't have.
  8. Interesting to see the Bombers are still going hard with their pregame warmup while the Riders went to their dressing room awhile ago. Also, it's gonna be a hot one.
  9. I still think Salima will be kept around. It wouldn't surprise me if McCrae is cut as he's been injured for most of camp.
  10. Depth chart courtesy of @DTonOB https://twitter.com/DTonOB/status/1664758597102845956?t=T-gxEvnVaHzxOYVlEvKiFQ&s=19
  11. Yeah, only someone from Regina would need a depth chart for todays game. It's not hard to figure out who is going to be starting.
  12. Heres the Bombers' roster if you are looking for it" https://twitter.com/Wpg_BlueBombers/status/1664298566716882944?t=WoOWdS-A2QCn9c9YqYMAeg&s=19 On a side note Ballsy thinks it's unprofessional of the Bombers to not list a depth chart for the game. 13. Does anyone know the reason Lemon left the Bombers' practice roster many moons ago? I just know I've soured on him ever since.
  14. They are working on one lane in both directions. Looks like leaving on University will be much worse than last year. Not as much as one would think. He received a 125k signing bonus so his per game salary is around 7k. Then the player replacing him on the roster needs to get paid. So the savings per game will only be a couple of grand.
  15. With Shoen and Demski out its Beaulieu and Harrison with the 1s.
  16. He was at the start of camp. I'm am sure he went home so it was more than a paper move. Why suspend him if he was still in town and have him miss out on pay?
  17. Didnt his mom started to follow all the Bomber fans on twitter or was it his girlfriend?
  18. From Tim Baines: Bad news for the #Redblacks: DB Money Hunter and receiver Shaq Evans are out with injuries. Hunter suffered a torn pectoral muscle in the team scrimmage a week ago and will be out for months. Evans broke his finger in Friday's game vs. the #Als and could miss 4-8 weeks. #CFL
  19. Piggy reminds me of Kevin Glenn. O'shea calls him Piggy
