  1. Does anyone know the reason Lemon left the Bombers' practice roster many moons ago? I just know I've soured on him ever since.
  2. They are working on one lane in both directions. Looks like leaving on University will be much worse than last year. Not as much as one would think. He received a 125k signing bonus so his per game salary is around 7k. Then the player replacing him on the roster needs to get paid. So the savings per game will only be a couple of grand.
  3. With Shoen and Demski out its Beaulieu and Harrison with the 1s.
  4. He was at the start of camp. I'm am sure he went home so it was more than a paper move. Why suspend him if he was still in town and have him miss out on pay?
  5. Didnt his mom started to follow all the Bomber fans on twitter or was it his girlfriend?
  6. From Tim Baines: Bad news for the #Redblacks: DB Money Hunter and receiver Shaq Evans are out with injuries. Hunter suffered a torn pectoral muscle in the team scrimmage a week ago and will be out for months. Evans broke his finger in Friday's game vs. the #Als and could miss 4-8 weeks. #CFL
  7. Piggy reminds me of Kevin Glenn. O'shea calls him Piggy
  8. He's listed as 5 10 but that's questionable. He's notably shorter than Brown who is listed at 5 11.
  9. Yeah, last season they were able to DI McCrae but I'm sure this season they'll need to use a DI for kicker/punter instead.
  10. I'm not sure how Agudosi gets on the game day roster unless there is an injury.
  11. Les Maruo is wearing 33 on defence right now so there is a good chance it'll be used this season.
  12. OUCH UPDATE: Receiver Dalton Schoen was back at his post at practice today, one day after sitting out a session. The list of those not practising is long, although it’s still to be determined who will make the trip to Edmonton for Saturday’s preseason game and who will be left behind in Winnipeg. Among those not participating on Wednesday were LB Adam Bighill, DT Cam Lawson, CB Winston Rose, LB Kyrie Wilson, DE Thiadric Hanson, RB/rec Greg McCrae, RB Jonathan Rosery, DE Jackson Jeffcoat, OL Tui Eli, RB Brady Oliveira, DB Nick Hallett and CB Desmond Lawrence. https://www.bluebombers.com/2023/05/24/quick-hits-training-camp-day-11/
  13. If players are looking for another chance to make the NFL the XFL seems to be a viable options. 21 XFL players have signed NFL contracts so far. I think their season's schedule is a benefit as NFL rookie and mini camps start up just as the XFL season ends.
  14. I noticed yesterday that 19 year old receiver Tyrell was working with the trainer on the field. He's getting closer to actually practice. Also think this is the first training camp I've seen where all the olinmen have participated. No injuries and no vet days at the practices I've been to.
  15. This increases Strevy's chances of being on a game day roster:
  16. ZACH’S BACK: Zach Collaros returned to practice on Sunday after missing the last two days. He had returned home to Stuebenville after the passing of his grandmother Frankie Zanetos Collaros. She was 93.
  17. I'm here to remind people that it was the Giants in 2021 that first tried him out at DB.
  18. Over in Calgary, receiver Reggie Begelton is talking about having four players crack the 1,000-yard mark, something that has been done only four times in league history. That raised an eyebrow or two in the Winnipeg camp. “He can say it,” Lawler said. “Now it’s about doing it. So we’ll see. That’s what’s great about this group. No one cares about that. We don’t care who the 1,000-yard receivers are.”
  19. Another guy with lofty goals. Calgary's offence is going to be off the charts this year. Carey is looking to keep rolling and has set some lofty goals for himself in 2023. “1,500 yards, 15 touchdowns, (Most Outstanding Player) with the Grey Cup and Grey Cup MVP,” Carey told 3DownNation.
