  1. So this new rule IS in effect this year. I'm not sure if the Bombers have needed to take advantage of it. From the article: "CFL teams have to start seven Canadian players at the beginning of each game, declaring a number on both offence and defence that cannot be reduced over the course of the contest. Under the current CBA, a veteran American player with three years of service on his team or four in the league may replace an injure Canadian starter - a rule that Hamilton has been accused of exploiting this season - but it appears their fancy substituting caught up with them in the regular season finale."
  2. A budy was dragging his feet about buying tickets. I told him about this promo and he bought 4 tickets right away.
  3. If the Bombers win the Grey Cup Strevy would make 23K.
  4. I wonder if Kenny Ploen ever got his citizenship.
  5. The old stadium got even louder before they switched the lower stands from metal benches to seats. For noise makers I too get my cowbells from Princess Auto. I also have a football horn that works great. Something that has been missing of late though at Bomber games is a good chant. I need you all to join in when I start my rum-aided HERE WE GO BOMBERS, HERE WE GO chant.
  6. Lol. Dunigan said it's like being at the State Fair with McGuire's throws.
  7. Or the REDBLACKS' offence.
  8. There's no waterpark.
  9. It was a great interview. Hall even almost said FIFO. With a big smile Richie said "you either fit in or you don't fit in."
  10. By the way, as of today Agudosi is back on the practice roster.
  11. These quarterbacks are set to become free agents in February 2022 McLeod Bethel-Thompson, Toronto Argonauts Zach Collaros, Winnipeg Blue Bombers The ten-year veteran has turned back the clock this season, playing like the Most Outstanding Player candidate we saw in Hamilton five years ago. Collaros leads the league in passing yards (2,832), touchdown passes (18) and quarterback efficiency rating (111.7) and is widely considered the front-runner to win M.O.P. this year. Dominique Davis, Ottawa Redblacks Dane Evans, Hamilton Tiger-Cats Isaac Harker, Saskatchewan Roughriders Jake Maier, Calgary Stampeders Jeremiah Masoli, Hamilton Tiger-Cats Sean McGuire, Winnipeg Blue Bombers The 25-year-old has been in The Peg since the start of the 2019 season and has played sparingly, completing four-of-nine pass attempts for 72 yards. With Winnipeg having already clinched first place in the West Division, it's possible we'll see a lot of McGuire over the next three weeks. David Watford, Hamilton Tiger-Cats Signed through 2022: Vernon Adams Jr., Montreal Alouettes; Nick Arbuckle, Edmonton Elks; Taylor Cornelius, Edmonton Elks; Caleb Evans, Ottawa Redblacks; Cody Fajardo, Saskatchewan Roughriders; Trevor Harris, Montreal Alouettes; Paxton Lynch, Saskatchewan Roughriders; Bo Levi Mitchell, Calgary Stampeders; Matt Nichols, Ottawa Redblacks; Dakota Prukop, Edmonton Elks; Michael Reilly, B.C. Lions.
  12. I texted into the Coach's Show a couple of weeks ago. O'Shea said Agudosi went home to attend to a family matter. O'Shea said Agudosi is still in the team's plans.
  13. Maybe this is part 2 of the Ricky Ray trade. The pick becomes a second if the Elks re-sign Arbuckle. The Argos also get the neg rights to QB Chad Kelly.
  14. So, what would have happened if the Bombers put Harris on the one-game and he ends up being out for the season? You'd be on here saying the Bombers wasted SMS money and should have put him on the 6 game. The Bombers don't lie about injuries. They just provide minimal details about the injuries and are always optimist regarding the player's status.
  15. When I first read this I thought you were posting Zach's stats from last night. Lol Kind of puts it in perspective on how dominant the defence is.
  16. Is Coach O'Shea mini as well?
  17. Here's my picks: Montreal Hamilton Winnipeg Calgary
  18. Wasnt there supposed to be a new rule where a veteran American could replace an injured National?
  19. They can use the stadium, just not during the winter. A quick Google search says the stadium has to close when there is 3 cm of snow on the roof. They are supposed to be replacing the roof and for it to ready in a couple of years. I don't have a lot of faith in that timeline. Montreal has withdrawn from being considered to host 2026 World Cup games so that removes a deadline for the construction to be completed by.
  20. Last I heard is there were concerns with the roof supporting a big dumping of snow. Not sure if they worked on the issue the past few years. I was at that 2008 Grey Cup and the Big O was in disarray back then. I can't imagine they what state the stadium is in now.
  21. Here's a video, however it maybe a poor angle.
