And also taking a shot at Toronto fans by saying the Riders have more fans attending their practices. One thing to note is that if someone attends Rider practice you have to show ID. Talk about being paranoid.

Some dude at the game had a beer in a cup holder and he said the beer spilt everytime the guy in front of him got out of his seat.

The team also spent close to $20 million towards team amenities (locker room, weight room, barbershop etc) which I understand aren't included in the quoted price tag of the stadium.

And the crazy thing is the C'mon Centre saw enough in their eyes to overturn the call. I thought they weren't going to overturn close calls so I guess this wasn't a close call. I'm ok with the call if they use the same standard of catch / no catch all season but I have my doubts that they will.

Roc played in 19 NFL games so he's ineligible. Looks like Alexander, Poop and Washington are eligible however. Jeffcoat by the way played in 9 NFL games.

Yup, if it's a close call the Command Centre will uphold the call on the field. Meanwhile, if it's a close call the officials will rule in favour of the scoring play or turnover so it gets reviewed. It's quite the paradox.

It's comforting to know that the Bombers are practicing 4 times this week and they don't play a game. Meanwhile the Riders have a game and are practicing once in Regina before going to Montreal.

According to some Rider fans the Bombers were caught sleeping and Jones was able to sign Bennett and Bingham. Now, they've both been released.

Best thing I read was some Rider fans aren't concerned with the score in last night's game. They think the Lions had more to play for because they need to sell tickets so they had to put on a good show for their fans. Lol

Denmark was interviewed after the game, he said he's ok.

The size of the video replay areas looked to be the same as last year. What they did was get rid of some of the ads to make the stats area bigger.

On Edmonton's last touchdown an Esks receiver was clearly 5 yards offside yet there was no penalty.

One of my earliest training camp memories is as a kid watching the team practice at the Velodrome a few times. Not sure if I saw Mark Chipman tryout for the Bombers but one guy I remember was Forrest Kennerd - Trevor's twin brother. I'm surprised the 5 foot 5 QB didn't make the team, they must have been biased against Canadians or something.

Yeah, I was at Smith's first practice (he was injured and just rode the bike on the sideline). After practice the media wanted to talk to Roberts but he literally ran away from them and hid under the grandstand. Good times.
