  1. With the new transitway the Bombers should see some of their expenses decrease. Currently they change one of the lanes on University to be inbound before games which requires manpower to set up pylons and signage.
  2. With blurred vision it looks like Rod Black.

  4. Compare the text to Foley with how O'Shea treats his guys. Remember he went to Drew Willy's house to inform him he was traded.
  5. Well, if he does play for the Bombers he can help them end their Gray Cup drought.
  6. I could check later but I wouldn't doubt this guy played with Vince Young. Interesting that he was contacted around the same time Young was. Maybe Jones finds players by looking at old NFL almanacs.
  7. Modern day McGuire twins.
  8. Can they put turf down at the Convention Centre or Mts Centre for some of the combine events? Is that what they did in Regina? The Soccer Complex at the U of M would work for the combine itself but there is nothing near by for all the other events that now make up CFL Week.
  9. Get rid of the Salisbury House fan contest. It's the one where the fan is blind folded and has to run to the banner. I have never seen anyone win as none of the participants actually try. Bring back the mattress races instead.
  10. CFL heading in right direction to get calls right while improving player safety REGINA - Improve player safety, coaches’ challenges and the role of the eye-in-the-sky official, while at the same time cutting down on penalties and trying not to interrupt the flow of the game. This is the task at hand for the 12-person rules committee as it meets to kick off CFL Week in the Saskatchewan capital. http://slam.canoe.com/Slam/Football/CFL/News/2017/03/20/22711868.html
  11. I'm waiting for Young to hit the internet tonight and declare he's going to score 8 TDs a game.
  12. I need to know if Hurl is failure or not.
  13. Maybe his salary level wasn't in the team's budget. So if they sign him it's possible they release Ryan Smith or a vet DB to offset Steele's salary.
  14. The other irony is they mention how their site is the largest and best CFL forum eva and that fans from around the league want to post on Riderfans. However, they don't want these outsiders posting there.
  15. 1 + 4 = 5 2 + 5 = 12 3 + 6 = 21 8 + 11 = ? Like if you know the answer.
  16. No, but there is a Brady connection. Bishop was drafted by New England in 1999 and was ahead of Brady on their depth chart in 2000 - the year Brady was drafted.
  17. Yeah, Friesen is is quick to post anything with a negative Bomber slant to it. I thought I saw a tweet from him earlier today that indicated Bass and Denmark were both gone as Bombers - he has since deleted it.
  18. Maybe they got the guy that scouted the TiCats' practice for Mike Kelly.
  19. Reminds me of when Graeme Bell faxed his contract to the Bombers upside down. But before he was able to refax the paperwork Edmonton had contacted him and he ended up signing with them.
  20. Because they have more scouts. They must be better. Besides, it takes lots of skills to comb over other teams' rosters. The last 6 or 7 QBs the Riders have signed were from other CFL teams.
  21. I could see Costello being promoted and Keeping becoming the Oline assistant. O'Shea seems to have a lot of respect for him. When Keeping was injured O'Shea pointed out how Keeping was a leader and was eager to help out the other guys.
  22. Last year Mo was part of an exhibit at the WAG. Kinda reminds me of when Troy Westwood would dabble in a lot of off field stuff.
  23. I agree and I wish the CFL was in a position to pump the brakes on all the rule changes. Maybe the players would be able to adapt to the rules if they aren't changing every year. However, if there are going to be some tweaks I'd like to see them getting away from the fishing expeditions. Coaches shouldn't be able to challenge an infraction that occurs away from the ball. If the officials missed it during live action then too bad. If the league is dead set on making changes then the rule I'd like them to get rid of is the push out rule. Players should have at least one foot in bounds for it to be deemed a catch. The game has swung too much in favour of receivers. I'd like to see Loffler knock a player out of bounds to nullify a catch.
