  1. Yeah, there was the myth that Mack lived in the States and therefore was never around the team. Fact was that during the season he spent most of his time in Winnipeg.
  2. Sure, and he also played for the Riders. But, the Bomber staff recognized Hardrick's potential and didn't dismiss him as another failed talent. They got him to lose 20 pounds so that he'd be more mobile and look what happened. To me that's a strike against the Lions and Riders if anything.
  3. When the Bombers last won the Grey Cup we still had Jobs, Hope and Cash.
  4. The Stamps are this decade's version of the Als from the 2000's 2010 13-5 Lost West Final 2011 11-7 Lost West Semi 2012 12-6 Lost Grey Cup 2013 14-4 Lost West Final 2014 15-3 Won Grey Cup 2015 14-4 Lost West Final 2016 15-2-1 Lost Grey Cup Interesting that the last 7 Grey Cups have been won by 7 different teams.
  5. Bombers pick should be 6th of each round not 5th.
  6. Ok, I looked it up. Grey Cup winner picks last and Grey Cup loser picks 2nd last. All other teams are ranked according to their regular season standings. Therefore, the Bombers could be picking 6, 7, 8 or 9. The B.C. game will eliminate either 6 or 7.
  7. Isn't the Bombers pick position dependent on how they do in the playoffs?
  8. Harris needs 86 yards to reach 1000 yards rushing. Hopefully he gets off to a great start, gets to a 1000 and then they sit him for Flanders.
  9. Not so much a trick play, but I laughed when back in the day Westwood kicked a ball at a defender. The ball bounced off the player and Westwood recovered it.
  10. Lol, that was a slip. Whenever Medlock does something at the games I yell out "Madlock!!!" in my Grandpa Simpson voice.
  11. It's an interesting side story to watch these next few weeks. One thing to keep in mind though is Paredes is 50-56 for FGs so he has the inside track for the season record. Interesting to note that although Paredes' FG percentage (50-56) his better than Madlock (48-56), Madlock is 27-27 for converts while Paredes is 27-34. Madlock is perfect for all his FGs inside the 40 (30-30).
  12. Yeah, I 'member when Obby went to Calgary he couldn't stop talking about how awesome the Stamps were and the fact that the Bombers didn't have food for the players.
  13. You can say that again.
  14. But that was a play he wasn't allowed to challenge though.
  15. I believe in the last 3 minutes teams can only challenge PI calls. If O'Shea threw a flag he would have received a delay of game penalty and the kick would have been even shorter.
  16. He still has one game to go on the 6 game. Next week we will find out what the team plans on doing with Macho.
  17. Unless they are scored in garbage time. Then they don't count.
  18. Yeah, there's been at least 4 games now that Jones has made changes to the depth chart after submitting one 24 hours before the game. Teams need permission for any late changes to the 46 man. Hopefully the next time he asks to make a change the league says no.
  19. Durant provides stability at QB so it helps the Riders evaluate the talent around him. It would be smart to keep him. On that note, I hope Jones trades Durant.
  20. With the Bombers only starting one NI receiver I don't see the need for Demski. Sure, bring him in if they can get him at a bargain price but don't over spend for potential. If he was smart and was looking for the best deal he should re-sign with the Riders as he'll have better chance at being on the starting roster for the foreseeable future.
  21. Randle won't play this week, He's got a week to go on the 6 game IR.
  22. Protip: Princess Auto has great prices on cowbells.
  23. Where did u find this by the way? Useful info, the CFL site doesn't list new contract deals like this.
  24. Lol, I hear you. But so is giving Ryan Smith a hundred grand or so in bonuses.
  25. Yeah, maybe Bryant and Medlock were team players and helped out the team with a win-win scenario. For example, Bryant and Medlock could have restructured their deals and are taking 50 000 less in base salary for a 40 000 signing bonus that counts this year. Walters saves 20 000 total for this year's SMS and the players get a signing bonus which is taxed at 15% so they end up with more take home pay.
