  1. Devils were missing no less than 4 of their best players, so they were sleepwalking through this. Good on the Jets to take advantage. The way STL and Dallas are going, every point matters...
  2. I say this every year, but thank you VERY much to those of you who follow Junior/CIS/NCAA and can provide some input on the prospects. It's greatly appreciated!
  3. Thanks Gord .. did not realize that. Very cool that we get money outta this as well. **** those assholes. Now, knowing what we K ow now about all this.... How are we feeling about the whole "Walters should spend every single penny possible to win a home GC!!" ??
  4. He was already in Ottawa... Left during FA.
  5. Honestly, I'd love for them to continue being #9thForLife and continue to get crappy draft picks and still accomplishing nothing each year... But I could settle for the Jets crushing their hopes and dreams.
  6. Would love to see the Jets spank the fLames in 4 to open the playoffs. Few things would bring me greater joy.
  7. All this talk and honestly I have no idea what is even happening. There's no cohesive story building toward Doomsday. I just watched the newest Cap Murca the other day (actually quite enjoyed it, even though it's basically a direct sequel to Norton's Hulk movie) and still have no idea what's happening. They've got some heavy lifting to do with Thuderbolts and F4 this summer...
  8. I can absolutely yell you that the 70s-90s Rock format is massive right now because there hasn't been a lot of good rock the last 30 years. There is the odd band that gets popular but it's just not like it once was. For whatever reason there is more money to be made in Country, so even the Rock artists go there.
  9. It's good enough for Luc Robitaille, it's good enough for me....
  10. She hasn't been sparkles in years.... She became Robin Daggers on the day that grunge was born, at the 1996 Grey Cup half time show in Hamilton....... Everyone knows which Tim Hortons they were in that day. Blueberry Fritter.... Winnipeg, Manitoba.
  11. When James Reimer is the goalie.... You didn't get goalied.... No excuse for that ****.
  12. Who's a big Canadian Pop act right now? I legitimately have no idea... I know SOME of the new Canadian country acts (which do have a big following as that genre is popular right now) but I haven't known any Canadian Pop acts since Carly Rae Jepsen...
  13. I discovered the MBB app a few months back and use that exclusively, rather than Chrome.
  14. They are absolutely trying.... But I can guarantee you it's a slog for them. The CFL isn't as easy a sell among the masses as we want it to be. Unfortunately major businesses aren't beating down the door to sponsor it.
  15. It's the Grey Cup....it's the CFL.... It's TSN. The budget is limited, and it's at the mercy of record labels and the title sponsor. If Twisted Tea is the title sponsor, they want to target their ideal demo.... The 20ish year old kids... With whatever those people are listening to.
