I've really been trying to avoid conflict as much as possible, but I LOLed over this... So I'll share it even though it's going to cause a ruckus...

I worry about a guy doing all 3 and then each individual discipline isn't as good as it would be if he was just doing one thing. Also they really seem to love the Aussie for whatever reason. But... I'll be curious to see if they make a change. We thought they were married to Jackson and he was tossed with very little regard, so maybe...??

Indeed... It was all about their lines, and the defense in particular. Ricky Ray was probably the last QB of note in that organization...

Also 5 straight cups and 2 wins at the beginning of that run. People forget about the wins because it's convenient. Absolutely there are questions about why we can't finish the past few years and The Trinity will dive into that as a unit, for sure. I look forward to seeing what they come up with for next summer!

That is true... Good point. And for the record, I was quite vocal about a perceived misuse of the DL. They were absolutely married to a Nat DT for some reason, so that was never going to change whether it was Jake or Cam. 100%... And even those of us who are taking a "let's all chill..." Approach right now, were very vocal about this weird use of Nats during the season....

I blame a Cam Lawson injury for that more than blaming coaches tho...

In a best of 7, the Jets get maybe 2 games against those guys. They're close... But they're not ready for the best of the best just yet. Hoping they keep getting better as the season goes on. The key is knowing you can't take a break all night. Full 60 every single game.

VAJ is poor man's Burris. He seems like a whiner with an ego who puts himself first. Honestly I'd rather have Trevor Harris and that is REALLY saying something.... Cause I don't want him either. Maybe that Alexander kid from Montreal.... And obviously Brown would be my first choice.

People have lost their ******* minds. I knew it would be bad with 3 Cup losses in a row, but seriously wanting to trade Zach for VAJ is over the edge. People need to step back for awhile and come back in a more rational state...

Are we so far gone that VAJ seems like a viable option?? C'mon fellas it's not THAT bad.....

He's signed through next year and with another 1k season under his belt I'm not sure he's in a hurry to renegotiate. But who knows what the core would be willing to do in order to build the best team possible for a home town Cup.

There's not gonna be drastic change when we're hosting the GC. Or at least not the suggested "be okay with a down year" to rebuild. Not gonna happen. I think they did a partial rebuild in season, but I really think the best advice is what JBR said: Have Zach tell you exactly who and what he wants to surround himself with, and then go buy it. Take whatever penalties you need to, to put the most talent on the field. And while I'm not going to whine and stomp and cry about veta getting tossed, I do agree that Thomas and Bighill (among others) need to be, as respectfully as possible, moved into the next phase of their lives. I am ******* DEPRESSED today... And I'm gonna need some time away from football breaking my heart again....but come spring, I'll be ready to fly. I'm excited for full season tickets next year and hopefully being in town for both a WF and GC. No matter what, Let's ****** Go, Blue.... #FortHew #DefendTheFort
